First, thank you for your comment and even watching the video. I cannot speak on whether this is a fact since this topic/issue is divided again. I see individuals posting on UA-cam from various regions excited and disappointed. I was speaking more so from my hype level and the positive reactions I have noticed about Yasuke. AC has never had historical accuracy in any game. This one is a refresh to the series and looks amazing. Every gamer is entitled to their opinion. This is for me a game I will definitely play. Thanks again!

The game creator asked the Japanese why they were unhappy. I ask those who are watching the comments:
Wouldn't you be unhappy if people said, "Dr. King was able to carry out his cause only because of the help of brave white people, and he could never have done it alone"?
Let me put it another way: "Thomas Edison was an incompetent who couldn't have invented anything without stealing ideas from black people. This is a historical fact."
If it had been promoted as a completely fictional story, it would have been accepted. The problem is the arrogance of trampling on the history of other countries and other races.
First, thank you for even watching the video and commenting. I understand when we make videos like these some individuals may not understand why we are excited for this game. AC has never been a historically accurate game franchise. I do believe this is a bit different when it comes to playing a game based on Japanese lore. For the most part, we always get a samurai, assassin/shinobi, or yakuza-style game. I believe there is more to Japan's history and rich culture than those things. It seems no one cares about the protagonist in most popular Japan-based studio games being white (blonde hair-blue eyes), but why is it an issue playing as Yasuke when Naoe is also playable? I am just genuinely excited about what I have seen in the trailers and recent gameplay. I never mean to offend anyone with my excitement over something. I truly believe that if a game doesn't speak to you, it is totally fine not playing and expressing why. Thanks again!

If the game makers hadn't advertised it as historically accurate from the start, there wouldn't have been any backlash at all. Like the other Assassin's Creed games.

Thanks for commenting. Although it was a little difficult to read and follow at times, I feel I got that you enjoyed the trailer and dont really understand the hate towards the game. Yasuke is a real African samurai from history. I would definitely encourage looking it up. I found it really fascinating
