Recently got the Hasegawa F-22, couldn't really afford the I Love Kit one, and I really liked the Ace Combat limited edition they were offering, so yeah... I ended up rushing my purchase cause of my FOMO (really need to get over this) And honestly I think I might be in too deep... I had only made 1/72 kits (WW2 planes on top of that) till now and wow I seriously underestimated the size of a 1/48! I'm going to take my time and review your vids once I feel a bit more confident to tackle this project, for the time being this kit is going to the (already pretty large) backlog. Thanks a lot for documenting and uploading your work!
thanks for the good video I Subscribed your channal. I have one question. What makes this kit better than the Hasegawa 1/48 F-22A? Overall, which of the two is better? if you don't mind about price??
I responded to your other question. I think I did a review of this where I talk about the kit. Surface detail is better and look at my videos on tips to achieve the correct color
Yes and no. It was originally $150, now $100. Seems the going rate for a 1/48 jet. Unfortunately still seems a bit steep at $100. Just a bog standard plastic kit which fits well. Zero PE, resin, seat belts etc. I would say $60. But right now the world has gone crazy with prices. But if you want a F-22 for your collection really best option.
Hey brother your videos are the best I love watching and you have helped me with techniques and enhanced my models thanks
Thank is very kind. Have a fantastic weekend. Richie
You as well
I jump on the laptop each time Richie posts. Totally worth every second of the audience's time. Thanks man

Turned our really nicely Richie, well done.

I've used Rit clothing dye in hot water to tint canopies.

Sounds good. I feel my paint mixes for this were pretty accurate.
Really nice build-- I'm thinking about getting this kit. Nothing easy about going for that F-22 finish.
It wasn’t too bad. I think the colors I used nailed it. Just the kit is very expensive for what you get.
Great Job Richie! Good tip on the intakes and landing gear.
Thanks Ken
Thanks Ken

Amazing building! Paintwork is spot on! Are all the rivets on the kit there originally or did you add them somewhere yourself? Thanks
Thanks. I did not add any rivets or surface detail. All on the kit plastic.
nice build, very informative. has your opinion on the price point changed since you completed the build?
