Although it's not the best comparison (as one is an open back), would you say that the Cascade has significantly more bass impact than the Verite (as in night and day difference)? I'm considering getting the Verite Closed but i'm worried the low end on the Verite may not be as impactful as i would hope
TBH Ive got the Verite to have too much bass,depending upon which tube combos I use. Regardless of the open vs. closed,comparing the Cascade to the Verite is simply unfair. One is a world class sounding headphone with the looks and build quality to match,and one is an over-priced bass cannon with flaws throughout. If you want an excellent sounding closed back with fantastic bass and not have to spend a fortune,check out my Sennheiser HD250 review.
