Why dont you go to Paris suburbs. The renting over there is cheaper and the flats bigger than in Paris itself. You can find suburbs not far from Paris. Think about it.

I def will be making more in the near future hopefully! I will also do a deep dive on the 20 diff arr in Paris. That will take a bit more time on my part haha. I think all arrondissements have their ups and downs. Some "tourists" like to stick to the more "hip" places but every corner in Paris has a lot of great stuff to offer. Don't get stuck to one place in mind!

I actually made a video with tips and tricks for apt hunting a few weeks ago! In short, there's a bunch of websites out there like Leboncoin and SeLoger to name a few

What arrondisement would you recommend for students?

It really depends on where your university is. I would personally try to stick close by or at least on a direct train line. There are lots of unis in the 5th, 6th, 7th for example. Rue Mouffetard would be a fun place to live as a student but it's pricey. I would highly recommend living in student housing. It is a great way to make friends and to transition to life in France.
