DARKSUN is one of my rave D&D settings. Idk why it does not get more hype.
Because snowflakes can’t handle the idea of slavery, even in a fantasy setting, lol
I played DS Shattered Lands recently (for about 1 hour), and it seems pretty good.
That setting needs more games.
I thought about doing something low-fantasy related with Skyrim and you not only beat me to it but did what my mind was working its way around to. Darksun is criminally underrated as a game setting. I've been crossing my fingers that Larian would do something Darksun related after BG3.

I don’t know if you have seen my announcements on the Dark Sun Facebook pages, but starting next month I’m going to be doing video interviews of people who are creating new Dark Sun Materials for the Dark Sun community to enjoy. If you would like I’d like to do a collaboration with you. At the very least I would like to interview you about your Dark Sun Sky Rim mod. I still have to put a couple of forms together before I can get started on this project, so it will be next month at the earliest. Let me know if that sounds like something you would like to do.
Oh it’s not my mod. I turned into Dark Sun using my Mod List. Of course the big difference being that they are a combination of other mods I’m using to get this effect. NOT one of my own. I appreciate your content though and have been meaning to do more on Dark Sun myself. I just have to wait for the mood to hit.
What mods to use for converting into conan?
*Complete Guide*
Step 1: Scour mod DB, nexus and every other source for mods that get rid of elves, beast races and magic
Step 2: Give up on getting rid of elves and settle for “Historical Revival” and “Humanized Beast Races”.
Step 3: Play the free-to-play version of “Age of Conan - Unchained” and have fun running around as a priest of Set, Barbarian or Assassin of your own creation in a fully voiced combat focused adventure.
@@GrimDarkHalfOff yes that was the simmilar flow of events and i would add step 4: become too lazy to get beyond the pirate island to the west whose name i always forget Step 5: "perhaps one day ill get the machine strong enough for conan exiles"

@@GrimDarkHalfOff exiles felt significantly different than AoC because of the freedom and fact that it is a sandbox survival, something that captures the feel of hyborean age better. In AoC you are somewhat limited in what path your character takes and just has to end up being the peoples hero or something and i cant even build a cool fort on a steep snowy mountain...
