2 words: Roderick Robinson. He will single handedly put us in the top 5 in redzone scoring %

We didn’t have great rbs last year

As much as I loved Milton and Edwards I think you’re right… we didn’t have that elite RB. I think we will have one this year with Etienne and I’ve got a good feeling about Nate Frazier being that in the future.

You sir, hit the nail on the head! That should change this season with Etien from UF and both Robinsons healthy.

Brooks bringin it with the running game and "Moss" receiver if he stays healthy! Statistically, Georgia was great in scoring with the running game in the redzone in 2023. The running game in 2024 will see a significant improvement in the redzone along with the passing game despite the loss of the "Cyborg" to the NFL! This will be a historic scoring offense unless injuries dictate otherwise!!!

I feel like if you can move the ball but can't score in the red zone, thats playcalling/personnel packages

I'd be careful putting too much stock in percentage stats. Especially red zone numbers where there's a 5% difference between a top5 team and top 20 team. Would you rather have 90% on 81 trips or 95% on 42 trips?

Georgia led the conference with 40 rushing TDs in 2023. Georgia led the conference with 37 rushing TDs from the redzone in 2023.
The issues scoring from the redzone were not on the running game. Carson Beck was not efficient in the red zone. It was one of two statistical areas for imperative improvement by the returning QB (the second being the deep bomb efficiency). Carson was 13th in conference for passing efficiency from the red zone.

We need to bring back the Fullback a true fullback not a te lining up as one in the red zone

Hurts our numbers when we beating teams to sleep in the second half and running the clock out instead of scoring

Pretty sure we didn’t complete 5 deep balls all year. Unacceptable

Also play calling patterns become predictable with more data over the year.

The oline has always been good. Just unable to win the tough match-ups. Pass pro, looks good, run between the 20's, when pass or run is an option, but when it counts against physical defenses, they consistently lose. Even against UT a couple years ago, when the rain started, they couldn't run. UT got 6 (I believe) possessions, after the last fg by UGA. Because they couldn't run. Edward's had to break 2 tackles behind the l.o.s. to salt away the last minute or so. I know, on occasion, they do win. NCG against bama in the 4th qtr. Playing like that more would do them wonders.

Yards per play... Great. Big explosives... not.
We all see so many other teams every week have these plays, but rarely us.
"NIL" money and deals, young kids, and fast cars. It's not a good mix for any college.
