I was around when the Don Maclean original was released in '70, maybe 71, and I never thought it could be bettered. I first heard this version on 6Music a few days ago and I'm not ashamed to say, it had this old guy in tears. It's just so beautiful and eats into your soul ( in a nice way, I mean ) Thank-you , Leanne. You have a new fan.
