If Muzan didnt explode he wouldve been there getting one-shottede until dawn fr. even then then Yoriichi nearly instantly obbliterated every single one of his 1800 chunks going at probably lightning speeds, since hes deffinetly faster than Zenitsu who can dodge lightning, even when he got caught off guard when it happend. man this theme gave me chills lol, I read the mangas, and also following the anime....I hope they can show bit more of this Legendary Demon Slayer in the anime series. Yoriichi Tsugikuni is the original demon slayer who introduce the ancient and strongest breathing style - The Sun Breathing ( later known as Hinokami Kagura) where every other lesser breathing styles branched out from ( Moon, Water, Wind, Thunder, Flame, Stone, Mist, Insect,Serpent, Sound, Love, beast). This is the demon slayer who scared the shit out of Muzan. It's no wonder why Muzan tried to kill Tanjiro and slaughtered his family. The Kamado family had a good relation with Yorichi. Tanjiro's ancestor Sumiyoshi was a good friend of Yorichi and he passed down the Sun breathing to him, because he didnt have offspring ( Yoriichi's wife and child got slaughtered by demon), and thats how the Kamado family has passed down this Hinokami Kagura for generation until Tanjiro's time.
Yoriichi at 12 years old was most likely able to defeat the average pillar, Yoriichi at 7 years old would probably be able to beat Inosuke during the Kyogai arc, and Yoriichi after making sun breathing probably could beat any character even without Transparent World and Demon Slayer Mark

THIS MAN WAS BORNED WITH HACKS, HE WAS BORNED WITH THE FIRST SLAYER MARK AND SEE THROUGH WORLD, AS WELL AS THE "SUPREME TERRITORY" THAT AKAZA WAS TALKING ABOUT. And the slayer corps kicked him out and lost all of this because of something he couldn't control. 🤦🏻♂️

He didnt hesitate to slice down michael jackson and didnt hesitate to do the same to kokushibou, because after becoming demons they would be killing humans, and yoriici would kill any demon who does that.

well this might be true I agree ^^ partly because tanjiro is not blood related to yoriichi and I also believe the kamado family ancestors couldn't replicate the real sun breathing technique hence they passed it down through a ritual dance they called hinokami kagura then. so yes even tho tanjiro is strong he'll never master the real technique/reach yoriichi's level.. but tanjiro definitely fated to be the chosen one to inherit yoriichi's legacy, and I'm glad for that

Through that friend his style lived on. Through the generations that style would be passed on. Until one day the King returned. What that man left behind all those years ago was the one thing that King could never rid himself of Fear. While he is now gone his legacy still lives in knowing that Anyone who sees his earrings will know the name of Yoriichi the founder of breathing Styles and the first breathe of the Sun users.

Man, Yoriichi was so powerful, god took him off the plane of existence, so he wouldn't two shot his now demon brother, lol. He's so powerful, that 100's of years after defeating Muzan and almost killing him, he gets PTSD at the mere glance of his hanafuda earrings. That's true power right there.

well this might be true I agree ^^
partly because tanjiro is not blood related to yoriichi and I also believe the kamado family ancestors couldn't replicate the real sun breathing technique hence they passed it down through a ritual dance they called hinokami kagura then.
so yes even tho tanjiro is strong he'll never master the real technique/reach yoriichi's level..
but tanjiro definitely fated to be the chosen one to inherit yoriichi's legacy, and I'm glad for that
