Very nice practical example of melodic embellishment in the jazz style using a concrete example. Most jazz tutorial video's are about chords and chord/scale based solo's. etc, but the melody (theme) of the song remains the most important part. Old jazz players from before the bebop era used this mainly as a basis for improvisation.
Great achievable steps set out here. Not “oversold” and again linking into all the stuff we do. I love these bite sized tips, find them really motivating!!!
