I am blessed to have a restored marriage, a forgiving wife and God still in my life. I cheated on my wife, walked away from God and was listening to the un-Godly, doing what I wanted to do for ME. I didn't think about what I was doing to my wife and 2 young boys. I came home; things are slowly changing in a good way. He sold his gaming console, gave away his gaming computer, going to psychiatry for serious help, going bad to school, getting rid of bad influence/friends, standing up for me in front of his parents, etc. I also quitted my job, which will soon put us into financially difficulty when the new baby arrives. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, still learning to trust on God, in His healing and restoring power.
Ephesians 5:24-28... That verse changed my outlook on what I was doing in my marriage because of how broken I was from my life before my wife. Now, I am fighting the enemy to pick up the pieces and praying God will keep His promise of forever following a repentant heart. God does restore. Been with the father of my daughters for 16 years. We had a very bad separation. I went home, unloaded the groceries and sat my ex-wife down in front of the computer and played her this song...I told her everything was going to be OK, and she revealed to me that she had been cheating on me...I try to listen to this song every opportunity I can, because, while it brings back painful memories of what was, it gives me hope that with God's help my new marriage with my beautiful wife has meaning and a purpose. That the vows we made aren't empty and that there's hope for all of us married couples. Just remember that Jesus is the center of the Universe, and should remain the center of your relationships if you hope for them to last. I had gone into my neighbour's house because she used to ask me to check her children were up for school, as she would have already left for work. This song was playing on Christian radio at 7 a.m. in her house. The next day, this song was playing again at the same time in her house. She isn't born again and I've never known her to play Christian radio before those two days, or since. I could not believe it. It's a while since then but I've just looked it up again and it is so prophetic. God will restore my marriage and yours. Keep declaring it with the words of this song.
Our marriage is going through an extremely tough period. I haven’t always been there for my husband and supported him like I should. He stated that he doesn’t want to be with me anymore. Every couple I know has been getting divorced. My grandparents after 50 years, my parents after 30 years, and now my wife asked me for a divorce after almost 13 years together. I've been married two years today. This past year was SO hard. I felt the enemy come into our marriage and take my husband down a road I never thought he would go. God DOES restore. I'm praying for my parents, would appreciate if you would for a moment; They've been married for 43 years. There used to be physical abuse way before I was born (no longer except on occasion) and there was cheating on both sides. My dad still hasn't gotten over the cheating and has a hard heart. He accuses my mom like she's a monster, and keeps everyone up all night yelling if he wants something from her. Mom's so shattered she doesn't feel human anymore, she seems to only see misery, the entire house is often negative and angry. My older brother stays in the basement. This was always normal to me... 17 going on 18 now I know it's not. I'm tired of the same thing day in day out. I wanna see my mom smile and laugh again and I want my dad to break out of the enemy's chains and see more out of life. I want this family to feel/act/love more like a family. It's hard to imagine things can get better when its repeatedly shown to me nobody cares to change anything but God can do it and if He wants to, He will.

Kim, I have been there. In 2008 I felt like I was hit with a 2x4 to the gut when my husband said there was someone else and he wanted it to end. But God is the LORD of second chances and he restored our marriage to better than it was before (like the song says). Despite the initial feeling of complete despair and hopelessness I quickly had a peace that I cannot describe. I got very depressed, but realized I need to take better care of myself, my baby and the unborn one, and I left in late Aug. along with my daughter. Everyday, I was waiting for a miracle. He begged me to return daily, but I waited till I saw some changes. I also realized even though there is nothing good left I can see in him, there is still love for him. I am sure that’s how God loves, not by my own strength.

I am blessed to have a restored marriage, a forgiving wife and God still in my life. I cheated on my wife, walked away from God and was listening to the un-Godly, doing what I wanted to do for ME. I didn't think about what I was doing to my wife and 2 young boys. I felt I hated my wife & truly thought I was in love with another woman and that I would be much happier, that my kids would be fine. I could'nt have more wrong. Thankfully I let God back in and he restored my heart and my marriage.

10 years ago i was soo broken, troubled marriage throughout the first 12 years when unexpectedly many dark secrets surfaced. I wanted soo bad to fight for her and I remember every time I would hear this song on the radio. I was hopeful but deep down really didn’t think we would survive the hardships. My love for my wife was soo strong but my pride almost prevailed against us. Last Saturday we celebrated 22 years of marriage!!!🙌🏼Yes God healed and restored us bringing us to newer heights and depths as a couple, but he worked out things in our lives that needed to be dealt with. This song played when I pulled into the lawyers office to file for a divorce in 2013. The radio said “marriage does not have to die.” I turned it off and went inside and signed the papers. I knew it was God trying to stop me but God restored it all anyways. My husband and I have been back together for 9 years now. This is our song! I came home; things are slowly changing in a good way. He sold his gaming console, gave away his gaming computer, going to psychiatry for serious help, going bad to school, getting rid of bad influence/friends, standing up for me in front of his parents, etc. I also quitted my job, which will soon put us into financially difficulty when the new baby arrives. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, still learning to trust on God, in His healing and restoring power.
Ephesians 5:24-28... That verse changed my outlook on what I was doing in my marriage because of how broken I was from my life before my wife. Now, I am fighting the enemy to pick up the pieces and praying God will keep His promise of forever following a repentant heart. My husband and I are living proof of the restoration power of God... we are working on 10 yrs anniversary since our reconciliation. I remember it like yesterday...On my ex-wife's and my 10-year anniversary I felt like we'd hit rock bottom. 2 Kids, a house, 3 dogs, nice cars, good jobs, we had it all, except the love that we had when we met...That night I went grocery shopping, my ex-wife stayed home with our kids and I asked my sister if she'd like to tag-along. I told her that I felt like my marriage was slipping away, she played me this song. I went home, unloaded the groceries and sat my ex-wife down in front of the computer and played her this song...I told her everything was going to be OK, and she revealed to me that she had been cheating on me...I try to listen to this song every opportunity I can, because, while it brings back painful memories of what was, it gives me hope that with God's help my new marriage with my beautiful wife has meaning and a purpose. That the vows we made aren't empty and that there's hope for all of us married couples. Just remember that Jesus is the center of the Universe, and should remain the center of your relationships if you hope for them to last. You've no idea of the impact this song had when I first heard it. I had gone into my neighbour's house because she used to ask me to check her children were up for school, as she would have already left for work. This song was playing on Christian radio at 7 a.m. in her house. The next day, this song was playing again at the same time in her house. She isn't born again and I've never known her to play Christian radio before those two days, or since. I could not believe it.

Every couple I know has been getting divorced. My grandparents after 50 years, my parents after 30 years, and now my wife asked me for a divorce after almost 13 years together. And many many more friends & family. It's a true epidemic. But I've been putting my faith in God that He can restore our relationship. I am not faultless in this, and I understand her side, but I'm doing everything in my power to keep us together, with God on our side I know it's possible.

We all have to remember to show "Unconditional Love" to our spouse. I was reminded of that today with my wife. I'm praying for all marriages but don't give up on your husband. To hear so many of you share your faith in God's ability to fix what seems impossible give me so much hope in my wife returning to me. I often think she feels she showed courage in leaving, but because our problems could be so easily fixed. (no abuse, adultery, mostly communication issues) I just feel like she's running away. I'm praying for my parents, would appreciate if you would for a moment; They've been married for 43 years. There used to be physical abuse way before I was born (no longer except on occasion) and there was cheating on both sides. My dad still hasn't gotten over the cheating and has a hard heart. He accuses my mom like she's a monster, and keeps everyone up all night yelling if he wants something from her. Mom's so shattered she doesn't feel human anymore, she seems to only see misery, the entire house is often negative and angry. My older brother stays in the basement.
This was always normal to me... 17 going on 18 now I know it's not. I'm tired of the same thing day in day out. I wanna see my mom smile and laugh again and I want my dad to break out of the enemy's chains and see more out of life. I want this family to feel/act/love more like a family. Did God restore?
Kim, I have been there. In 2008 I felt like I was hit with a 2x4 to the gut when my husband said there was someone else and he wanted it to end. But God is the LORD of second chances and he restored our marriage to better than it was before (like the song says). Despite the initial feeling of complete despair and hopelessness I quickly had a peace that I cannot describe. Praying for healing and peace during this time for you and a heart change for your husband.
I am in tears...God is AMAZING!!! Praise God...My friend is there right now. My husband moved to work 1500km from home even expressed seperation the best but Gods faithfulness intervened and the relatioship got restored . Pray that God keep him committed in the marraige as the enemy stil trying to hold him inside with strongholds . Pray for my husband that God give him a 100 fold Encounter to know that what God joined together NO man can put asunder . I believe I aready have the victory for my husband to move back home Glory to God
I got very depressed, but realized I need to take better care of myself, my baby and the unborn one, and I left in late Aug. along with my daughter. Everyday, I was waiting for a miracle. He begged me to return daily, but I waited till I saw some changes. I also realized even though there is nothing good left I can see in him, there is still love for him. I am sure that’s how God loves, not by my own strength.

I also prayed for forgiveness because I had stopped trying and stopped doing what God has called me to do as a wife...and that I am NOT without many faults myself. I declare with the power and authority of God that He will restore my marriage..
Matt, I feel your pain. Just 1 week ago I was at crossroads and was down and out and was going to divorce my wife....until my daughter brought me a book on tape by Gary Chapman called The 5 love languages. My parents never fought and I thought that marriage was effortless, 27 years later I was going to walk. After I listened to the book my daughter told me about this song. My wife and I listened to it and cried amd marriage is back on track God is restoring our marriage.Please get the book!!
We have been going thru alot. I have always been a beluever and my husband hasnt. He has also been an addict. He came to Christ last year after he hit rock bottom on meth and we split for a month or more. He was saved and clean for almost a year before he relapsed a few weeks ago. He lost sight of God and took the temptation. We are not togwther but we both know God will restore us to a brand new marriage as he did before. When you let God work oh the amazing things you will see!

Im 35, married my wife 14 years ago. We have 2 daughters, 8 & 2 years old (AMAZING). She left me in middle of January. I LOVE her. I dont just love the "idea" of her. I tried to fix it own my own, that made it worse. I have finally given my family back to God. I've never heard this song before, until now. My prayer has been for God to restore my family, and His will be done. (I dont know exactly what that is, but God will restore my family.)

How did things turn out?
I heard this song on my way from church this evening and this song brought tears to my eyes cause this is how my marriage is. My hubby and I have been married for 4 yrs, the last 3 I've been suffering health issues cause of those I can't work. Fast forward. He is an unbeliever and I'm a believer he believes in God , feels that you don't need to go to church to believe in God or be a Christian. I'm ready to give up on my husband.
I heard this song a couple weeks ago and it brought up alot of feelings. My wife left me 25 years ago, after just 2 years of marriage. God has given me a great family now and I am truely blest. The death of that marriage still causes pain. God was not given a chance to restore that marriage by her choice. If both persons are willing, with God, all things are possible.
my husband an eye split for a weekend and I thought it was over but the song came on and I felt like the Lord was telling me to stay strong. at this moment in time my husband and I have been spilt for a month. but I still see strong holding on to the song. I know the Lord is going to restore our,marriage an rebuild it not just for us but also for our family please keep us in praying.
