I am blessed to have a restored marriage, a forgiving wife and God still in my life. I cheated on my wife, walked away from God and was listening to the un-Godly, doing what I wanted to do for ME. I didn't think about what I was doing to my wife and 2 young boys. I felt I hated my wife & truly thought I was in love with another woman and that I would be much happier, that my kids would be fine. I could'nt have more wrong. I remember it like yesterday...On my ex-wife's and my 10-year anniversary I felt like we'd hit rock bottom. 2 Kids, a house, 3 dogs, nice cars, good jobs, we had it all, except the love that we had when we met...That night I went grocery shopping, my ex-wife stayed home with our kids and I asked my sister if she'd like to tag-along. I came home; things are slowly changing in a good way. He sold his gaming console, gave away his gaming computer, going to psychiatry for serious help, going bad to school, getting rid of bad influence/friends, standing up for me in front of his parents, etc. I also quitted my job, which will soon put us into financially difficulty when the new baby arrives. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, still learning to trust on God, in His healing and restoring power.

And many many more friends & family. It's a true epidemic. But I've been putting my faith in God that He can restore our relationship. It not only affects that couple, but everyone who loves them. Healing is a process, just know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. I'm praying for my parents, would appreciate if you would for a moment; They've been married for 43 years. There used to be physical abuse way before I was born (no longer except on occasion) and there was cheating on both sides. My dad still hasn't gotten over the cheating and has a hard heart. He accuses my mom like she's a monster, and keeps everyone up all night yelling if he wants something from her. Mom's so shattered she doesn't feel human anymore, she seems to only see misery, the entire house is often negative and angry. My older brother stays in the basement. This was always normal to me... 17 going on 18 now I know it's not. I'm tired of the same thing day in day out. I wanna see my mom smile and laugh again and I want my dad to break out of the enemy's chains and see more out of life. I want this family to feel/act/love more like a family. It's hard to imagine things can get better when its repeatedly shown to me nobody cares to change anything but God can do it and if He wants to, He will.

I will pray for your whole family. This is very difficult for everyone. I sit here and cry because it's all true. When I went through my divorce it was nasty and it was not my decision. It's 9 years later and I have always told my children I didn't hate their dad I just disapproved of what he was doing to all of us. He continues with his behaviors. I am blessed to have a restored marriage, a forgiving wife and God still in my life. I cheated on my wife, walked away from God and was listening to the un-Godly, doing what I wanted to do for ME. I didn't think about what I was doing to my wife and 2 young boys. I felt I hated my wife & truly thought I was in love with another woman and that I would be much happier, that my kids would be fine. I could'nt have more wrong. Thankfully I let God back in and he restored my heart and my marriage.

But what we found out was that everyday we we were apart we prayed for God to help our family and reunite. And God has made our family and love strong. My husband and I are living proof of the restoration power of God... we are working on 10 yrs anniversary since our reconciliation. I remember it like yesterday...On my ex-wife's and my 10-year anniversary I felt like we'd hit rock bottom. 2 Kids, a house, 3 dogs, nice cars, good jobs, we had it all, except the love that we had when we met...That night I went grocery shopping, my ex-wife stayed home with our kids and I asked my sister if she'd like to tag-along. I told her that I felt like my marriage was slipping away, she played me this song. I went home, unloaded the groceries and sat my ex-wife down in front of the computer and played her this song...I told her everything was going to be OK, and she revealed to me that she had been cheating on me...I try to listen to this song every opportunity I can, because, while it brings back painful memories of what was, it gives me hope that with God's help my new marriage with my beautiful wife has meaning and a purpose. That the vows we made aren't empty and that there's hope for all of us married couples. Just remember that Jesus is the center of the Universe, and should remain the center of your relationships if you hope for them to last. I came home; things are slowly changing in a good way. He sold his gaming console, gave away his gaming computer, going to psychiatry for serious help, going bad to school, getting rid of bad influence/friends, standing up for me in front of his parents, etc. I also quitted my job, which will soon put us into financially difficulty when the new baby arrives. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, still learning to trust on God, in His healing and restoring power.

We all have to remember to show "Unconditional Love" to our spouse. I was reminded of that today with my wife. I'm praying for all marriages but don't give up on your husband. I was once a husband that needed a lot of work and God got a hold of me during this marriage valley and now I will always be a work in progress but I'll be a better husband than I could have been because God is first in my life.
Ephesians 5:24-28... That verse changed my outlook on what I was doing in my marriage because of how broken I was from my life before my wife. Now, I am fighting the enemy to pick up the pieces and praying God will keep His promise of forever following a repentant heart. May He bring back my marriage so that I may give the glory to Him saying God fixed us and made us whole again.

Every couple I know has been getting divorced. My grandparents after 50 years, my parents after 30 years, and now my wife asked me for a divorce after almost 13 years together. And many many more friends & family. It's a true epidemic. But I've been putting my faith in God that He can restore our relationship. You've no idea of the impact this song had when I first heard it. I had gone into my neighbour's house because she used to ask me to check her children were up for school, as she would have already left for work. This song was playing on Christian radio at 7 a.m. in her house. The next day, this song was playing again at the same time in her house. I'm praying for my parents, would appreciate if you would for a moment; They've been married for 43 years. There used to be physical abuse way before I was born (no longer except on occasion) and there was cheating on both sides. My dad still hasn't gotten over the cheating and has a hard heart. He accuses my mom like she's a monster, and keeps everyone up all night yelling if he wants something from her. Mom's so shattered she doesn't feel human anymore, she seems to only see misery, the entire house is often negative and angry. My older brother stays in the basement.
This was always normal to me... 17 going on 18 now I know it's not. I'm tired of the same thing day in day out. I wanna see my mom smile and laugh again and I want my dad to break out of the enemy's chains and see more out of life. I want this family to feel/act/love more like a family. It's hard to imagine things can get better when its repeatedly shown to me nobody cares to change anything but God can do it and if He wants to, He will.

I will pray for your whole family. This is very difficult for everyone. I sit here and cry because it's all true. When I went through my divorce it was nasty and it was not my decision. It's 9 years later and I have always told my children I didn't hate their dad I just disapproved of what he was doing to all of us. He continues with his behaviors. I know in the end that God will be here for us through all the suffering we've been through. I can't wait for that day to come.
I heard this song years ago on the radio, when my parents were separated. I was trying to find it and today I finally found it. I never knew the title. Praise God they are reunited and just celebrated I believe 40years of marriage

This is the song I have been needing to hear for a long time. My spouse is 44 and I am 28. We have been married for 8 years and it started to rocky in the beginning. We struggled a lot but still managed to stay together. Until that unfaithful day on December 7, 2007. That day was when everything changed between us. We finally said to ourself we need help. 8 weeks ago we started counseling through a Christian Clinic. We sought out to god for help. I love this song.

This song really hit home. I have been with ex-husband for 17 years with five beautiful children. We were married for two years and have been divorced since 2002. We have been trying to make it work but through the years we split up many times. Now we are in counseling which is our last resort. I have been praying for strength and faith to make us work. Heard this song last Wednesday for the 1st time after we had an argument and know that we need God in our life more.
Please pray for my aunt and uncle. They are divorcing and I can't imagine the things my cousins are feeling right now. It hurts to hear about them divorcing, two people I love VERY much, and it hurts more knowing their children will be torn between them...

this song really spoke to me. I have been going throw some horrible things with my wife and family. And I been praying more then I ever have. I was screaming ad God asking him how can this work there is nothing that I could do anymore. I have done everything you have ask me to do God. what else can I do we are falling apart. when I was done being in my flesh God put this song on the radio. It's not over until you draw your last breath on this earth & you are recalled by your Maker. If you can maintain you commitment God can RESTORE it. How much we want to demonstrate true contrition is shown by our ability to wait. If you consider the Jesus, in while we were yet sinners, died for us, and that He waited for us to come to Him (after all He had already done), and then waited and waited as we wander here and there, don't we owe the same unselfish devotion to our spouse?
