However, for the solos I used the Boss DS-2+Ibanez WH10+Boss DD-3, any other part was clean. I can share my settings if you give me an email address but bear in mind that it all depends on how your amp reacts to your effects.. in my case, I have no amp , so I set everything in order to make it work with my Amplitube 5 preset. If you use an amp or other presets/software, even by using my settings the outcome might be very different, worse or better.
You can blame Rick Rubin for that. There's a pre-mastered version of a number of Californication songs on UA-cam. With Savior there's an additional final verse, but unfortunately it has AK's 'All in a hand' vocals repeated throughout the entire solo.
