One thing about Charlie, she’s going to save the day!!!
Before you return, try applying the pressed powder with a powder puff! I love it this way. I think the sponge it comes with packs it on too heavily.
Bravo, well done. Your makeup is always pretty!
I love your videos. Your finished look was so pretty.
You did save the day and it came out beautifully
That feeling at 16.42 needs to be a meme!! Definitely understood every feeling❤ I hate starting over, you worked it out ❤
I was really hoping the Huda Pressed Powder was going to perform the same as their loose setting powder, but without the talc and fragrance. So disappointing, plus it might be luminous, which doesn't work well on my oily skin. I'm totally going to pass on trying that new Huda Pressed Powder. Miss Charlotte Tilbury definitely saved the day👏🏾. Appreciate you for testing that powder for us, it's always helpful to see how products look on our Brown Skin tones. Take care love and have a great weekend🤗.
No mica powder is the first ingredient on the list and that’s why people think it’s shimmery or luminous.
Hey girl! I believe the pressed power is meant to be used as a brightening powder. Before you take it back, you should try setting with the loose powder and then applying the pressed powder in the areas that you want to brighten. Let me know how it works for you if you try it! Definitely going to pick this up to review for the oily gworlsss!
Happy Friday gorgeous. I was waiting since I got off work for this video.
Loved the look!
I bought it RIGHT AFTER seeing your short video haha and returned it before picking it up in store girl, dangggg
Hey girl hey! Glad you was able to pull it off in the end lol. You look beautiful as always 😍 💕. Thank you so much for the upload and God bless 👸🏾 👏🏾 🤎 🥰 🙏🏾
Huda said it's not a setting powder but a brightening powder which is weird bc it's named Easy Bake and Snatch Pressed Talc-Free Brightening and Setting Powder.
Yeah I heard that too and I’m like… huh?!?…. OK!🤷🏽♀️🤣🤣🤣 But I definitely exchanging for another shade👌🏾
Words are important! It is confusing.
I feel you should try the press powder again before taking it back because you did go ham with the amount you used so to give it a fair chance try it again but not use so much because the press powder seems more dense/heavy compare to a loose powder.
I sometimes feel that the beauty influencers try soooo much makeup so when a product doesn’t work to their liking right away they’re like nope. I hate that because I’m almost certain a second try may change their minds. Not in every instance but I do have several things I hated at first and then I tried them again and love them. But I get it that they have soooo many lip glosses, eye shadows, setting powders, concealers, etc that a product better work right through first time or it’s getting returned because they don’t need to give products a second chance.
Did you guys hear the part where I said I was exchanging it for another shade??? Not just giving up on it?…
@@AndreaRenee00 OH yes! I definitely hear when you said it.
@@AndreaRenee00 I didn’t hear that part. My apologies sweets…
Hey 💕 Here for a shade reference for whoever this may help. I wear Haus Labs 440/ Nars Macao/ Fenty Eaze Stick 19 and use shade Blondie in the Huda pressed powder which is somewhat similar to Charlotte Tilbury in shade 2 of her powder. Blondie is just a hair more yellow. Hope this is helpful 💛
🤎🥹 thank you
More ppl should comment this 😭thank youu🫶🏽
“Stop Staring @ me” took me out!!! 😂😂😂
I usually just use my foundation brush (without more foundation) to fix errors i make on the face but you definitely saved the look cause at the end i couldn't tell until you pointed out the line by your nose.
Yaaaas you’re back.
Cute! Love it! Did you end up using a setting spray after you stopped filming? What setting spray would you recommend? Blessings
I was waiting on you ❤
I love the one size pink powder, I wonder will they come with a pressed one.
The powder had us in the first half but you finessed it!
You saved the look. It's beautiful. I just purchased the Kunafa pressed powder & it is not as yellow as the loose powder, it's real subtle. I also purchased the Cinnamon Bun &I love them both. I think you should try one of these two. I even layered it & it's nice.
Ooooo I looked at Cinnamon Bun and almost grabbed it! I’m definitely exchanging it for another shade 👌🏾
Hi Andrea hope all is well. what is your eye go to brightening concealer? please and thank you
Blondie is a nice shade thats what i use, we are close skin tones..i also have cinimon and i made a mixture of Blondie and cinnamon and use thay for all over my face..
You worked it out, love the makeup! I purchased the Kunafa in the pressed powder and it’s not as yellow as the loose powder but I wish it had more of a mattifying effect. I don’t like the sponge that comes with it either. I think I still prefer the loose powder…
What color is that loose powder? Is it giving a purple tink and it’s so pretty
Can you try Haus Labs foundation? We wear the same shade in other foundations so I want to make sure I bought the correct shade in HL.
Is this powder normal/dry skin friendly?💕 hey sis heyyy!!!🥰
I think you should try the pressed powder 1 more time without using so much lol. Girl i was worried the way you just kept diggin in the product! I was like don't use too much now 😂
I wonder if the pressed powder will apply differently with a brush versus a puff. The description also says it’s medium to full coverage (I’m pretty sure), the loose is light coverage.
Maybe try Blondie in the Huda powder. I love it in the loose powder, and you and I are generally the same shade match in products. I have Kunafa in the loose powder, and I felt the same way. It's just a little too golden for me.
The Huda loose powder looks much better, love how sheer it is. It’s a lighter powder than the brightening powder. Charlotte Tilbury saved the day, love the final result! ❤❤❤
Hi. This is not really related to the video but I noticed you use the Lancôme 460 concealer. I bought the 495 shade and I tested the 460 and it matched as well. Do you use the 460 to brighten?
What primer did you use?
Babes can you do a hair video for years, ive always thought this was your hair you dont play! This is celebrity level hair & styling babes. Ive never in my life cared about a wig/extensjons in my life 😂 until now. Also loved the video ❤❤
Babbbbyyy. Im so addicted to the cluster lashes.
Omg they’re the bestttt!!! This comment reminded me to go stock up on some more this weekend lol!!!👏🏾👏🏾
I’m so chicken 😅about those lashes. I be thinking I’m going to bond my eyelid shut. 😂
@theaftermathwithshay At first, I thought the same, I would suggest putting them on when u have time and nowhere to go. You will see the ease and the amount of control.
If anyone has used the Dynessa Groundwork and the Patrick Ta neutral I would like a comparison recommendation.
❤❤
“Gloss-ee-yay”
Hey girl! Your loyal bestie here! 🥰🫶🏽
Heyyyyy!!!!💗💗💗💗💗
Girl get another color and use a light hand lol!❤
Yes! For sure!!!!😅😅
Well I'm going to pull the trigger on the Huda Beauty Cherry Blossom loose setting powder. It's taken some time to get my head around a pink setting powder but I have got to say that I've really liked what I'm seeing with it on people my skin tone.
Buy it! , It brightens skin without the ash and blends like a dream.
So glad I didn’t buy it. I may reconsider but definitely in my usual brightening shade Cinnabon!
I was swatching these in sephora last week and I was curious but I passed on it. So glad I caught your review. I wear the loose setting powder by Huda in Blondie but if I got her pressed powder I think I would get Kunafa.
Both eyes were creasing to me with either the setting powder or baked powder. The baked powder from what I’ve been seeing on UA-cam is for brightening after everything is on. So try it again maybe in a yellow undertone than the white cast look. I think you’ll get a better look and review. But you made it work.
Banana bread is the shade I’d prefer on you. Loose powder and pressed powder!! Trust me on this
😂😂😂 "stop staring at me" lmbo
yeah.....Mikayla already told me the pressed is NOT the same as the loose like we all thought it would be
I purchased the cherry blossom loose powder trying to go with the trend, and I hate it!!!
Oh dangggg😭😭😭
@@AndreaRenee00 it looks good on you, and of course, I love your channel girl, been a follower since 2019!!!
Gorgeous 🌹🌷🌺❣️🥰✝️🌷💟
The R is silent on Glossier like Laura Mercier lol
1st to check it out 🎉
Yesss!!!! Love that! Thank you!!💗💗
If we have to work this hard to make a product work Issa easy no for me. I’ll pass. Great video per usual. 😊
Thank you!!!!💗💗
Doesn't the powder just look like that cos you put too much on? I'm confused!
You should’ve gotten banana bread!
Take a little bit of your foundation and dab a little bit around that area
Pressed powders are usually for finishing, not for SETTING…
It’s marketed as a Brighting Setting Power. It’s not marketed as a finishing powder.
The colors don't translate from the pressed powder to the loose powder. Kunafa in the loose powder looks amazing on me. Pressed powder Kunafa is too ashy. Cinnamon bun is amazing in the pressed powder though whereas the loosed powder version was too deep.
Can't see the products that you are using
I feel like you should try with lighter hand and then make final decision.
Lol I love watching your videos but I know based on this video you are not a morning girl! Lol 😂🧡🧡🧡
Before returning, break it up and grind it into a powder…..just a suggestion.
Yea it seems you didn’t bother to blend it out with a brush on top
of putting to much in the beginning. And it’s probably creasing because you didn’t use a brush to swipe more product away you just added more with will cause more creasing… you should defiantly start over because I think this is a user error situation
I don’t think it’s user error as I didn’t use it any differently than any other powders I’ve tried on my channel. I always use a sponge or puff when setting my under eyes whether it be a loose or pressed powder. Some work out and some don’t.🤷🏽♀️
Clearly starting over would have worked, sad to say!
Starting to really love the Dynessa palette its soo universal. Cant decide which to add to cart;I’m in between that and Patrick Ta’s palette.
