So how are you liking the Rodeo? I'm probably going to buy one here pretty soon, and your video is the only one I've found on the new version.

I like it a lot! its a great first wing. stable enough that if you get in trouble go hands up and it'll fly itself, with enough features to keep you occupied till its time to buy a new wing anyway. I have dabbled in finding thermals in the afternoons and flown in calm winds with gusts up to 20mph in leeward side turbulence and it was bumpy but fine. the wing is confidence inspiring. It comes up well and doesn't overfly easily, I have noticed it likes more of an explosive kind of pop up of the A's on launch rather than the kind of loose drag up I've seen ozone wings handle well. So if you don't try one before buying know that it likes a good energetic commit when bringing it overhead. The speed is ok, trimmed out I kept up just fine with other folks in my area its nothing special there. just started using the tip steer and I reeeally like that. in a few months I might tie it into my brakes...keep in mind I'm about 20 or so hours on it and dont do acro so take that for what its worth. It feels like a sportier Universal 1:1 if that makes any sense. Kyle O has some better footage than me of the wing, maybe better content too, but im working on it. ;) ua-cam.com/video/jQHGFLodF1A/v-deo.html

@@andybynum5365 I like the Rodeo Blue line! but I feel like as long as you have the right motor for your weight, and your harness and risers are setup well, any motor can be really fun. to give you an idea of my thought process I was on the fence between the Gravity Defiant, a ParaJet, and The Rodeo. Money wasn't really an issue for me because I had budgeted for a top end new motor saving almost everything I could to afford something nice that I was comfortable in (being comfortable is what keeps you safe IMO. calm mind, good decisions, stay alive) but you may have different priorities in the motor than me. What sold me were: the tensioned net that doesn't snag easily on cacti or twigs if im flying low like Anthony Vella. The powertrain seems very robust, from online searches and speaking with other pilots, the Nirvana motors just keep working as long as you maintain proper fuel/oil mixtures. the only negative I can find on the web is issues with starting due to weak battery cells, vs the numerous pages on troubleshooting moster185's. Lastly I prefer the flight dynamics of the high hang point ( ua-cam.com/video/41G-Hdurvj8/v-deo.html ) and the simplicity of the torque compensation strap that simply forces your harness into a weight shift, rather than offsetting the motor. being centered under thrust is important to me. Cons: The sticker wrap decal is kind of cheap and starts coming off with wear and mine didn't come with straps to keep the cage together so I bought some long Velcro cable ties and use them to hold the cage together. the throttle tension spring is weak to me and I plan to replace it. there is no manual start feature, so if you forgot your battery or its dead. you're done. also, don't ever butt land with this motor. it will F*** your spine up. there is almost no protection for a downward impact, I figure if I'm coming down my feet are already out and legs are always the best shock absorbers anyway. Hope that helps!
