Good morning! I'm so thankful to have read this comment. I've missed a lot of comments as of recently and I wish i could read them all. Anyhow, you know I used to be where you're at now. I just didn't see the proof of God with all the brokenness in this world and heartache. Then i realized something, firstly, we're broken people ourselves and make bad decisions in our own lives. All of us do that but we also hurt others with our sometimes evil decisions..secondly, I look at the beauty in the world. Take you for an example, your mother and "made" you but they weren't the one who formed you. How did your eyes get so beautifully designed with millions of particles and cells that came together so that you can see? how do you have a soul that speaks, feels hurt, feels joy, laughs, loves, and has emotions? The fact is that if God didn't exist and we all formed ourselves over millions of years (which is scientifically impossible because nothing can't create everything in scientific law) then still science couldn't explain our inherit knowledge of right and wrong. We all know it's wrong to lie, steal, murder, etc. etc. We also have a soul and know deep down that there's something more to this life. In the beginning God created the earth. He made man and woman and created us originally to have fellowship with Himself. He wanted to be friends with us. But since then we've sinned (done evil against him). That's why Jesus came. Since God is a just and righteous God someone had to die to appease God's good judgement. Well Jesus was the only perfect one human who could take our punishment. And so he died for the world. And three days later he rose again from the dead to be with God. Not just so that we can get to heaven, but so that we can have fellowship with God again. That's real true friendship. Deeper than the friendships we have in this world. It's such a beautiful and hopeful story that I just couldn't help but believe it when I heard the wonderful news! Thanks for sticking around :)
