I’m starting to wonder how Rupp made so much money. Was it the case as with most rich people, his parents were also rich, or was it the people around him who deserve credit in spite of him? Because not only has he shown (matter of heart) that the my way or highway wasn’t just Edin, he said the above not Edin. But he’s also just like a giggling idiot who whenever he gets asked a question or says anything always laughs after it. He never sounds convincing in anything and it all sounds like he just says words he thinks people want to hear rather than really delivering. He says he’s invested, our budget already stretched to the players we got once players went out. So I can only think Alexander had enough for 1 player for a season or 2 players for half-a-season. That’s a token investment not anything that helps. So I’d expect January investment to be just enough so he’s not lying when he says he’s invested. A quick one about Sparks. I’m not blaming him anymore for saying he wanted to get our injuries down and not sign injury risk players and then signing Callum Johnson. David Sharpe has taken credit for it, so even though in this case Sharpe’s gamble didn’t pay off, I’m glad Sparks has allowed him to actually make changes that Sparks might not be in favour of. The real test of that will be with contracts and not leaving them until last minute.
