Hi Todd, I missed this vlog somehow but have come back to it now. So glad that you were able to come back and help this dear blind lady, who does not appear to be that old. Mind you most people are younger than me these days. What you have done to help her and her family is amazing. Great to see Mina and her brother enjoying time together and that he is always so happy to see you and Neenee too. Lovely how Mina was all packed up and ready to go. Greta vlog as always Todd, may the good Lord bless you all.😀❤🙏
Great Great video, thank you for sharing!
What a beautiful lady
OMG Todd. She made me cry too. How precious and special. 🙏
Todd and Neenee always do nice things for the disadvantage locals and we will always follow to watch. Dee Lai.
So sweet.
Very beautiful and touching video with the old woman. I was crying, also. Who wouldn’t? In another week or so I will send for Mina’s schooling. I’ve been a little under the weather, so to speak. Feeling much better now. Mina looks very pretty in her lovely dress. Always stay healthy and safe. Take care of those 2 precious ladies in your life. Cheers, mate.
🤗🙏🏼!
Great video, loved it. You guys are amazing 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Have a wonderful day.
You are so kind.. Made me tear up too.
If a person can't be moved by this and some other videos in Todd's Now in Lao collection, then they are soulless ghouls. Amongst other things besides the interesting exploration of Lao, is the Humanity and Compassion shown in this channel that makes it special. Thanks Todd, NeeNee and Mina. 👍🏼♥️
❤ ty..xoxo..blessings to y'all in every way..
Couldn't hold back the tears. I am also blind in my left eye. Thank you for all you do for these beautiful people . God bless you and your family my brother. I hope to meet you one day. You are a kind man.
Excellent vlog Todd and Neenee. Very powerful.
You guys have such BIG hearts ❤❤❤❤❤
I always need a box of tissues each time you visit that sweet lady
You guys will be blessed in whatever after life you believe in. You both have a great compassion for people ♥️
Lovely to see Meena’s love for her brother. She glows when she’s with him. Good on you for maintaining the connection with him and the family and supporting him. Thank you for supporting the old woman and all the others.

Congratulations to 61000 subscribers !!!!!
A truly beautiful older lady. Thanks for helping the family.
Great work Todd, Neenee and Mina. The old lady obviously has a very loving family and I am sure she really appreciates your family thinking and caring about her.
Thank you and your family for what you do! ❤
well done Todd and Ninee made me cry too not in position to help with money but sending all my love, thanks again..
Todd. You and neenee are angels walking on earth. What you do is what I strive to be one day. I hope our paths will cross in the near future. It would be an honor to shake your hand. You are an inspiration to to my wife and I. Once I find my courage to break away from the matrix that I'm living in, I would like to try and do the same for the mien people in laos. Keep up the good work brother. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I know the discomfort the lady is in. My wife's aunt spent the last 40+ years of her life blind. She was blinded from a bomb blast. She had a wonderful support group of nieces and nephews to help her navigate thru her life. As it appears with this lady. Her first steps to possibly being helped have started. It is now up to this wonderful social media to continue to get her help, It has already started by reading the comments. Lets SEE what we can do.
Let's get a second. Opinion. Happy to chip in.
Honestly that's the usual reaction most people have 😢😂🎉😊
You're a saint Todd.
Well you guys done it again, made my eyes sweat a little.......keep up the great work
made me cry too!!
Good On You.
There are some things you can't measure in life and this one is top of the list. My grandfather always said " the Lord works in mysterious ways " and this visit brings back that saying every time. More power to you guys. Bushyboy Oz
Wonderful as always !!
Keep doing the right thing Todd. I'm still the same Todd Hendley, just changed my UA-cam moniker after my son Ian helped me update it. It was his face before and his doing😁
it would be fantastic if there was a way to get the blind lady to a specialist to verify if they can or cannot help.
Hi Todd,
Is there any way you could substitute those plastic bags with either recyclable or reusable cloth-based bags? I noticed those bags being haphazardly discarded. You've showed and commented in the past on how filthy many places in Laos are. A good start would be not to add more plastic waste into the waterways and land. Thanks Todd.
Regarding the elderly blind woman. anyway of getting her to a high quality ophthalmologist in Vientiane or Bangkok? Maybe her blindness is reversible and the cost is way lower than either in the States or Australia if treatment is available for her condition.
@5:00 She spoke in Hmong:
"Son, your parents used to live in these mountains with us. We live so far away and yet your able to find and visit us."
Being blind, she see nothing but the gesture of others.
You guys are truly awesome ( a much overused word these days) but not for you two. ❤
I don't think there is a dry eye watching this.
I get very mixed emotions when I see videos like this, on one hand we have the blind lady needing assistance, and she is just one of thousands, on the other hand, governments spending billions on needless wars, creating more people in need.
We really need to get our act together.
Mina's sleeping with her mouth open is what damaged her death. You need to break that habit if yu can... Great video, are you able to find out what the doctors said about her eyes?
Perhaps the Fred Hallows Foundation can help that lady. They do work is SEAsia. Including Lao I think.
Could it be a second adoption 😉? Mina and her brother? Blessings for you guys 🙏
Todd, do you know if the doctor in Vientiane said he can't help because there is nothing he can do, or because of cost?
It has to be tough leaving Meena's brother behind
hi guys
@@NowinLaogod bless you mate. Truly an inspirational. I'll promise that I will never complaints about my life here in US no matter how bad it is
Bugger ya Todd, bloody eye started to leak.....
It might just be cataracts. A simple procedure that can let her see again.
... or or separating retina cause of diabetes typ 2 ... not so easy to fix
Let me know if you discover her eye condition and want to take it further and help her.
Hi Todd and Neenee, I would like to send some money to help people in Laos. Would it be possible with Paypal? Thank you for helping people in need in Laos
💯
It occurred to me that the lady would probably like some phone calls from you and Neenee. Does she use a stick to get around? If not, maybe you could get some information for her family. Please let us know her name. 👌 🥲
Your generosity towards the old lady brought tears to our eyes. If only we could find out if there is any chance she could get help outside of Lao . Are there any eye care people commenting on this page that can help. ? Hopefully , There can be a Happy Ending. Be Well Guys 🙏 Jim and Harriet
Hi Jim, Harriet 👋 Not yet Jim. I was hoping somebody would see this video that is more knowledgeable in this area and suggest what we could do from here. As stated, it was the eye hospital in Vientiane that said nothing could be done.. 😢
@@NowinLao That reply is too vague for us to know. It would be good to find out exactly what her condition is. It might be the eye hospital could do nothing because it's impossible or it could just be because they don't have the technology. There have been great strides in implanting replacement lenses, etc, in recent years, but some of it would be extremely expensive from a Laos perspective. I'd bet there are procedures available in Thailand that haven't made it to Laos yet.
