The ship is what carries the effect of intimidation, not the suit. In my Long Hauler playthrough I am doing I have the Mantis suit & ship (Razorleaf...) but I instead fly on a modified Va'Ruun Vigil as I don't want the "bandits" bugging out sometimes. When you get a ship & try to upgrade it but the option is greyed out, use the ship builder & replace the part & then you can upgrade it. Also legendary gear is normally Base Tier so not Calibrated, Refined, Advanced or Superior in Tier. If you delay the Mantis questline to 20+ you can get a far superior version of items. Maybe consider the first 20 levels your training to becoming The Mantis.
It’s nice you are still doing great builds Sarge and I’m not going to lie I spent about a half an hour trying to get good stats on the Mantis equipment but finally ending up getting awesome stats on them.
I have a Mantis Build similar like this But i made it where he was trained by the Hunter for an Interesting backstor but i can Use this Build since i have alway been interested in the Mantis

Some real solid tips here!

Can be real tricky sometimes to get good effects on it. I honestly don't know why it doesn't just have set effects
Been a while sarge. Glad you're enjoying Starfield as much as I am.
It's been a lot of fun to play
Im glad im not the only one who thought a mantis build should use the orion rifle
It just feels right
@@BADCompanySargei wouldve used the varuun pistol i think it fits the weird alien esque aesthetic
I wish we could dual-wield small melee weapons atleast so I can use 2 Va'ruun Painblades to emulate a Mantis's forearms
Such a sad background story ahhh 😱😭 Love that they implemented a "space meeting reaction" to the Mantis (whatever exact equipment caused it) 😎
Got another sad backstory coming next week
Nice build and back story
Thanks!
Because im batman( that kills)🦇
Batman got a laser rifle

Comments for the algorithm!!!
Always appreciated
Amazing vid
Glad you enjoyed it
Wasnt the mantis confirmed to be a mother that destroyed her children? I read the lore somewhere.
If you play the mission then you find out her son died while trying to get access to her lair. Not sure about any other children existing
You can reroll the stats on the mantis set, I found it best to Save as you said but also pickup a different item before picking them up.
I got quite lucky and only had to reroll once or twice to get effects I was happy with
cutter laser you need be in shotgun range short range to short
Yeah, it is real short range but that's probably for the best, otherwise I may end up literally using another weapon
