Jesus said, "follow" and "he who follows me shall not live in darkness, but shall have the light of life." Jesus also said whoever hears and practices whas is in scriptures is wise, but whoever hears but doesn't practice, is like a foolish person who is not rooted down. As such, when adversity comes, that person falls away from the faith.
Friend, let us follow Jesus Christ to the Father and let us practice all the things the scriptures teach. Especially, let us pray for the fullness of the Spirit who will not guide us in all truths, but will do the work of transforming us into the nature or image of our Christ.
