Interesting challenge! If I were a the boss of Toyota Australia I'd be inviting the guys at Kaon out for lunch. There's got to be a mutually beneficial opportunity here!
If the striker is that worn, the pawl (bit like a curved finger that hooks over the striker) in the latch on the door will be worn too. Replacing both will help fix the problem. With regards to the bottom guide (bofn racing thing), the guide on the door will be worn too and should be replaced. My Prado has 160k so not quite the wear as the one in the video, but I have put a layer of 1mm felt on the guide (body side) and this has eliminated the rattle and holds the door nice and tight.
Just what I was about to say. Easy job to slot them. What about a dremmel? A round file in a vice, just will take a while. Another tool is 12V chainsaw tooth stone, but not ideal. I have a deburring bit that would be another option.
The rear door is such a bastard piece of crap! On my 2011 150, I've replaced both hinges, and tried Kaon shims, and I've got one of the Bofu Racing guides, and I've replaced the striker. And yes I've also taken the spoiler off and put it back on, tightening everything up. And thers still some rattling going on back there, it's just awful.
I will buy 2 of the KAON the day they put it up for sale.

If the harden steel striker is that worn out imagine how worn out the plastic coated lock mechanism is
The latch on the door is adjustable. This may help to tighten it up.
Please adjust yours and then come and comment with your video link on how to do it
@@Fourby4Diesel I'm sure you're capable of working it out.
Bring them to a milling shop to make the slides
