Amanda's getting so big! I'm so happy for you two, it's lovely to get to experience this life change alongside you, so thank you so much for sharing your lives with us. And congratulations to Matt! Everything is so exciting! Lots of love, Victoria.
+Lauren Frank yup same lol, i was like what broke lol your present or something? i knew that it would be too early yet for her water so i wasn't worried lol
does not mean she cannot pop now low chance but still possible. my cousin was born at 7 months so his mother broke early and they where not prepared at all. still glad it was just the computer and not her
yeah but still probably not lol. i know it could, but i still believe she'll pop later lol when she's 8/9 months since i think the belly isn't big enough so not yet too much pressure
I love how humble you guys are with the whole popularity and growth thing. It's great that you picture it as "welcoming new members to the community". It's honestly a breath of fresh air from most of the rest of youtube.
Out of the channels the both of you have this one is my most favorite, because it has the most positive messages and even helps me with getting sometime done, even if it is something small like a story or something big like the job I've had for the last several months. :)
Hey Matthias. I know you probably won't see this, but here we go. *clears throat* You are such an amazing UA-camr. You care about and take advice from you fans, and you always put a smile on our faces. I've been really busy and stressed out for...reasons, *cough cough* SCHOOL *cough cough* but seeing your videos makes me laugh when I'm down, happy when I'm sad, and just lets me forget my worries. I'm so glad UA-cam has a UA-camr like you, and I don't know what we would do without you. You make a difference in our lives, and for that, on behalf of all of your fans, I'd like to say thank you for devoting your whole life to put smiles on our faces. You are a saint. You work your butt off just to make people happy. We are so glad that you do this for us, and we have no idea how to repay your kindness. Keep doing what you're doing, Matthias. Just know that we'll always be there to support you. :) High five! (Not trying to sound desperate, but if you reply to this, it'd make my life so much better. :3)
It's really great that you've got yourself a point of contact now! It's about time more creators received the attention and recognition that they deserve. Also, Amanda looks so cute with her bump! Glad to see you're feeling a lot better, honey!
I don't know why people thought Amanda's water broke lol but on a different note I love how Amanda was rubbing her tummy the whole time so cute! ♡ and I'm sorry that you are stressed and having computer problems I hope it works out fast so you can be happy and enjoy playing games again!
Congratulations on getting contacted by UA-cam and hopefully your computer doesn't take too much time to repair. Your lunch looked SO good and the worst thing I've ever had break was my pen in the middle of an exam! Love you Matthias and Amanda and HIGH FIVE! P.S: Congratulations on Luna!
Guys I'm currently goin through a very rough time my great grandma is in the hospital and is in line for death. This has been a hard time for me and I'm glad I can come here to watch your videos! Congrats on the baby Amanda!
to answer your question, I had to deal with my computer's motherboard breaking on me within a week of moving, and then I had to wait for about 6 or 7 months before I could even consider buying a new one. Even though it sucked, it was a blessing in a way because now I am able to also doing gaming and start up my very own gaming page. But then my CPU fan broke on this new PC, so I had to replace that. :/ but i guess that's what happens, things just break when you least expect it lol
Pray you never have to call a repairperson on a holiday! The main drain (from the house to the sewer) backed up on New Year's Day once. Holiday rates are ridiculous but being able to use your sinks, shower and toilets is kind of an important thing.
Right now my husband's gaming computer is also on the fritz. It's been that way off and on for a couple months. We have replaced almost everything at least once. It's almost only 6-7 months old too. It's pretty lame and stressful! Sorry you guys are going through this!
I had almost finished a short film that I put literally more than 100 hours into and had about 8 hours left of work and my computer's hard drive failed. I lost all my progress in editing but thankfully had all the footage. I didn't get a new hard drive until a month later.ALSO I was starting college and got a part time job so now editing it again is super slow and tedious. Now i'm extra careful to save project files on a external drive.
I completely understand something breaking at the wrong time. My vlog camera went down, so I wasn't able to record any new videos. When we were finally able to order a new vlog camera, my computer crashed. So even though I have all this new vlog gear ready to use and have about 5 videos ready to edit & upload, I can't edit them. I've tried to stay busy for now & hope to get new videos up soon. A lot of patience and positivity about other aspects in my life are helping me to not feel depressed over all this. Don't worry, because we love all of you and are here to support you.
Me and four friends were driving from southern Indiana down to Orlando for spring break last March 2015, and before we even left town, a light turned on on the car, saying something needed repair. However, we didn't have time to stop and get it fixed until we got there (it was also the middle of the night), so we drove 15 hours and thousands of miles down to Orlando with a partially broken car. We couldn't go more than 55mph the entire way!!
I have has something break on me at the worst time! I once did a whole report on tranquilizers (the drug category) for health class in grade 7. I saved my massive report on a USB stick, and as naive as I was, didn't save it anywhere else. Needless to say the USB stick glitched and I lost everything the day before it was due... Luckily I had most of the information organized on paper, and it was early Sunday morning so all I had to do was retype it.
Yeah -.-... I got the Samsung Galaxy S6, I've only had it for around 7 months and the battery is completely fried on it. I guess it's the model of phone that's having the issues, it's not just mine in particular. It sucks! I wanted to go and replace it with an iPhone but they we're only offering me $105 for a $1k phone! (for what we paid at the time) It's beyond frustrating! And now my $4k PC is having problems too. :( I'm having the worst luck these days!
There's this awesome store/chain called Micro Center. If you have one near you, I'd recommend talking to them for computer things. Anyway, QOFD: I just build my own computer a few days ago and my GPU wasn't working even though it was new. Like out of the box new. So that's a time when something broke at a horrible time. Though it wasn't actually fully broken. It just seems to be persnickety.
Our garage door and our front gate within the same week. Right now its our fridge and our washer just flooded our laundry room a few days ago. :( Oh and my hubbys car (still being worked on).
Does it look like I give a shit I couldn't it was just on a shelter website. I tried to convince one of my parents to but I couldn't, she was adopted though!
Twice now I've had computers break during the worst time during school semesters. The first was my desktop breaking the first week of senior year in high school (we replaced it with a laptop - 2010). About 6 weeks ago that laptop broke (6 years old at this point) in the middle of a group project. Luckily I had my desktop (received in 2013) and fiance's laptop to use. Waiting for a new laptop now.
Hey, Matthias, take your time fixing your PC. :) We can wait for videos, and I personally would rather you took your time with it and didn't stress and rush to get it done quickly. Must be so stressful to have such a catastrophic hardware failure. I stress about the tiniest thing that my laptop does, from the RAM being high after start up to a slower than normal BIOS time, because I need my laptop do to my coursework for college. If it were to break, I'd be screwed! Your faulty motherboard must be ten times worse, seeing as UA-cam is your job and is literally your source of income. I'm sure you'll have it fixed in no time flat, though. Much love and positive energy from here in the UK to you and Amanda! Can't wait to see little baby Luna.
Hello you lovely couple :) I hope everything gets fixed :/ Be positive Matthias :D As for your question yes... This year during December I had to turn in many projects and they were all in my computer... Sadly my screen broke and I couldn't see anything. I remember feeling my eyes watering as I was watching the broken screen but I didn't even speak I was justing watching the screen xD Luckily I knew were I had everything in my computer (desktop) so I transmitted them all in a USB and I had my projects... But it was the worst time.
My gallbladder! I've been having gallbladder attacks for the past week, and I'm waiting for them to schedule a surgery. The worst timing part is that I have a lot of assignments and papers that are due next week and finals are in 3 weeks for me. Talk about bad timing!
Oh yes something did break but it wasn't at the worst possible time. Awhile ago the lightbulb for the basement at my house stopped working. so we had to turn on another light to go to the basement. My dad did fix it though since no one in our family could reach it since it was really high up. He bought a lightbulb changer, it can reach high up without having to stand on chairs. So that was fun or so i think. I wasn't there when he changed it. I was at college.
So at a band parade , we were walking to get to the spot we met up at. I play clarinet for band so I had a Lire (holds sheet music without needing hands) attached to my clarinet. Suddenly, the screw snapped in half and I had to do the parade without a Lire but I had the music memorized anyways
Wow.... I thought her water broke lol. Matt ya need to be more careful with how you label your vids. First the twin thing (though I didn't think that) and now this and you are getting closer to the due date!
+Examiner of Obvious Flaws haha if her water broke I would have titled it: HER WATER BROKE not "It Broke". Plus people that follow me on other socials know I was referring to my computer.
+Matt & Amanda plus I think the least of the worries would be posting a video, I mean it would be more important to take care of Amanda who is six months and the baby
Matt & Amanda Lol yeah I figured after 5 seconds watching it how chill everything was it wasn't. Sorry to hear about the computer. That blows. no pun intended. And at least I'm not the only one who thought that. Anywho was just teasing sry.
using pronouns such as 'it' and 'he' in titles help to up the clickbait factor. I think the idea might've been for people to click the video just to make sure her water hadnt broke, other wise it would've been named 'my computer broke'
I remember when I was in my last year of college and my laptop's motherboard crashed in the middle of the semester, leaving me unable to access anything off of my hard drive. I had to buy a new computer, which cost me quite a lot, and I had to figure out a way to get my online school assignments finished. Luckily, the new computer is far superior and I was able to hook up my old hard drive to get everything off of it, but it was just inconvenient that it happened in the middle of a very busy semester. It was a very strange three weeks, that's for sure! I'm happy with my new purple laptop though! =)
Two semesters in a row I had computer problems during finals week. Once my hard drive broke down, caused me to fail a Web design class because I could not get ahold of a loaner computer... and then the next semester my computer would overheat and shut down randomly when I tried to use photoshop/illustrator /InDesign. Which given that I was trying to work on graphic design projects for a stupidly hard class... Yeah that was a tough finals week.
Something that broke at the worst possible time for me happened when I was on a road trip from California to Florida, we were moving to Florida and the trunk was filled with a bunch of things that we didn't want to go in the moving truck, but on the highway our tire popped. Unfortunately the only spare tire we brought was in the back of the trunk, under everything. My family had to take everything out of the trunk and then put it all back in, just to get the spare tire. Did I mention that it was night time and I am afraid of standing near roads? (You just never know when a car could swerve and run over that nice lady walking her dog). No nearby car shops around where open that late at night, so we traveled to a couple hotels that where nearby but one of them had bedbugs (EW!) and the other was really shady and looked like they sold drugs there or something. We ended up sleeping in the car parked in a parking lot and going to the shop in the morning, but since I had been asleep for most of the car ride up to that point, I couldn't sleep. Fun fact: WallMart parking lots are really creepy when barely anyone is there and shadows loom over your car. WORST ROAD TRIP EVER!!!
My laptop died a week before my online studies were starting. Also the motherboard that broke! I managed to buy a new one (with several payments, laptops are so expensive) before they started though so it worked out. I hope you guys will manage to fix Matthias' computer without too much trouble. My brother has an msi motherboard that works beautifully for his gaming, I can't remember the exact name/model but it's military class z something.
Oh my god, I'm going through stupid motherboard problems with my new streaming computer too. So annoying, though. I'm not in driving distance of a nice computer place like you guys are in LA, I have to wait for me to mail off my part, them to figure it out, and for them to mail it back. Uggggghhhhhh...
+Laura Moore You too, my Ultra Durable 3 has an USB controller problem, I think that I may have to replace my PC at the End of 2016, because Socket 1155 motherboards are discontinued :(
I am in marching band and I had the opportunity to march in a parade in Paris, France and it was a 6 hour long parade. I play the drums so we have harnesses to hold them and my friends harness snapped during the first hour so he had to march with a broke harnesses for 5 hours. Shortly after my stick broke. So yeah you can say it was a great parade.
I hope it all works out! I remember when my computer coputzed on me when I had to turn in a 6 page paper for and English class in college. The day it was due my laptop, that is currently 9 years old, decides that it wanted not to work. So I tried everything, even doing the on screen instructions and nothing worked. It was just a really old laptop and I had to get a new one, but I was given a couple of days extension to completely do a new 6 page paper and turned it in. Still wound up getting a bit so good grade on it, but my oldie laptop just decided "yeah, it's my time to die".
A couple years ago my laptop broke the week before I had 2 papers, a midterm and an assignment due... Luckily I was living with my sister and she had an iPad I could borrow and the repair was much faster than they said it would be and I got it back the next day... But I was preparing for a disaster and living at the library... Also I didn't have an external harddrive at the time and didn't know if I was gonna loose everything...
Have you ever read the giver ? If not you HAVE to! It's by Lois Lowery ! It's. Such a good book, I'm not going to lie I got emotional but it was worth it
My boyfriend used to build his own computers. His last computer had a problem with the mother board as well which killed his computer. He has since got a new one from a site that has a warranty. If you'd like Matthias and Amanda I can ask for the name of the site when he gets off of work.
hey Matt? (or Amanda) I'm wondering if you will do let's plays with Luna when she's older. I think that would be awesome and ALSO Amanda, zika virus is going around so PLEASE be careful! We don't want little Luna getting that virus.
I went to take a shower, I opened the glass door and the frame above it looked like it need a lift... The door fell out and shattered on the tile floor. My aunt heard from the floor below, it scared her; and I, who could've been cut literally everywhere had I not jumped away, was more afraid of getting in trouble! It was a shock really. I didn't get in trouble, but we still haven't installed a new door, just a sad curtain!
After updated my my laptop (to Windows 10) I dropped put of college for health reasons and when I got home I discovered that my laptop can no longer connect to the wifi. I have literally tried every suggestion online that I could find and nothing. It's really frustrating while trying to find a job. xD
Yes, I got s virus in my computer a couple weeks ago and I had literally 3 papers and 2 labs due that week that I couldn't do because I didn't have a computer for almost an entire week. Enjoyed the minimal amount of school though, but I'm still trying to get caught up in my homework.
The last time something broke at the worst possible time was today. I went to study for a test and my laptop broke. I went into the testing lab angry but I actually got a 98/102 on the exam, which is cool. But I have a MacBook Pro model that has an issue that continuously comes up & I always have to go get it fixed and be without it right when I have tests to take and my finished study guide is only on the laptop. I have terrible luck with my computer!
Wow, that must have been frustrating. Once in my orchestra this one person decided they would wrap christmas lights around their base for a concert, long story short the lights burnt the base during the concert. They also ended up buying a new base for the school. The worst part is that the person who did that was my sister.
For me it would be About a week ago when my computer screen got cracked. I had a online appointment for a schizophrenia program the same day I found it cracked.. I don't have any money to get it fixed right now because I'm packing to move soon. The clinician I had to have the appointment with said we can still talk over the phone and that when I get a chance to look online at the slideshows I can download them so I can keep up with my program work I have to do. So yea worst time ever for my computer to get broken.
Yes, when I finished my seven page paper and right at the moment where I was going to print it out my computer crashed. What sucks is that I didn't have a back up.
I recommend going on Newegg.com for buying a new motherboard, or if he wants to get crazy build his own computer. I highly recommend it over going to bestbuy for just getting a computer.
QotD: I was working on lessons for my students and some VERY important assessments for my teaching career when my hard drive completely died. Shorted, lost all connection, and died. Thankfully, I was able to pull all of my important files off the drive, but I had to wait for almost a month to get a new hard drive so I could continue working (I could NOT afford a new one). On top of all of that, I got majorly sick because of the stress and the fact that I caught whatever my students brought in, had a mental breakdown, and ended up not finishing the semester. My professor was the worst; she didn't want to work with me or make it possible for me continue the program, so I basically got screwed. I'm *still* dealing with the after-effects over a year later.
Something break at the worst time? Yup same problem as Matthias actually my compiter's motherboard has dried out and now I'm waiting on a replacement piece :(
I had a laptop completely mess up (not able to be repaired) while taking a final. Thankfully I had it done 90% so I didn't fail, but I couldn't finish. I'm just glad that the test saves answers automatically
I had a fiddle concert at 1:00 the next day and I was practicing for the show. Well with my bad luck the string snapped in the middle of practicing. My mom has to call my teacher to bring the string to the concert
Yup my camera broke just before we were going to go on our honeymoon and see all the stuff in brandson mo. COOL stuff by the way if you need a vaca area. So many amazing things. But yeah I dropped my camera like the week before but thankfully our family and friends gave us some money to use on our honeymoon and I was actually able to buy a camera with that.
I was working on my Criminology report last year for college and just when the final date was due to get it printed off and handed in, my laptop decided it didn't want to work anymore and refused to do ANYTHING. I was up until 1 in the morning working on the final parts of it then it refused to work when I woke up later.
QOTD: Yup. I'm in color guard at school and during a really big performance called "Steampunk", the cap of MY FLAG CAME OFF AND THE SILK FLEW OFF THE POLE. It was mortifying.
(I am super late at answering the question but life has just been super busy) Anyways, I really wanted to answer this because I had my laptop crash on me at the worst possible time. It was the end of a college semester when all my big papers are do, like research papers. I took my laptop to the repair shop two times and they were unable to find or fix the problem. So I practically lived at the library on campus during finals week to get my work done on their computers and when I went home for the summer, the first thing on my list was to buy a new laptop.
aww 😊 Amanda in the back ground was rubbing her tummy. ❤💜💙😇😊

Am i the only one who thinks it's so cute that Amanda always put her hands on her stomach? I love it!
Amanda's water breaking didn't even cross my mind. Am I the only one? I mean Amanda is duo in like 2 or 3 months.

Oh my... I know what that's like... except with a massive freezer breaking & being full of soo much food.. Hope everything goes smoothly 💜

Omg here comes the baby your gonna be a great dad wish you guys the best and tell Amanda that it's worth it love you guys

+Hellcatboy68 omg lol her water didn't break XD
I clicked the notificafion so fast, thinking Amanda's water broke...
same
Same
+Amanda Otieno lol your names Amanda 😂
+Alex UA-cam 😂😂 I didn't even notice.
+Abrar Ramadan same! ;3
Hello you lovely couple :) I hope everything gets fixed :/ Be positive Matthias :D
As for your question yes...
Amanda is just adorable so freaking adorable with that baby bump! (I mean, she's adorable anyway, but ya know what I mean :P )
How far along is Amanda. She doesn't look too far yet. But she does looks absolutely stunning
Almost six months!
She is due in July or August
+Beauty on a Budget most likely August because baby are always in the mothers womb for 9 months I'm sure
+Ninja x Inferno not always 9 sometimes 6
Suddenly, the screw snapped in half and I had to do the parade without a Lire but I had the music memorized anyways
i once had the handle break off of a coffee mug as i was drinking from it
+Captain Buttbutt Oohhhh
Oh snap!
Me Too...The Cup Was Super Expensive But As I Was Drinking I Noticed It Was EXTREMELY Poorly made...
mya bolk i did! thanks!
I don't get it.
***** Yeah that is for when I finally get a camera and can do movie reviews and book reviews. I already feel like an idiot
what juice books do you recommend?
Two semesters in a row I had computer problems during finals week. Once my hard drive broke down, caused me to fail a Web design class because I could not get ahold of a loaner computer... and then the next semester my computer would overheat and shut down randomly when I tried to use photoshop/illustrator /InDesign. Which given that I was trying to work on graphic design projects for a stupidly hard class... Yeah that was a tough finals week.
Love your video! Matthias and Amanda
That's a pain when the motherboard goes! hope it all turns out alright and good!
Is the green juice nice????
No, it's extremely mean.
XD
My fridge and BOTH my freezers broke just before Christmas! Literally the day AFTER I had bought ALL the christmas food!
hey guys, I love your videos! planning on sending some really cute stuff that I think Amanda and Luna would like.
Hey, Matt and/or Amanda, is that a camera on top of your cabinets? (2:40)
+Laura Moore You too, my Ultra Durable 3 has an USB controller problem, I think that I may have to replace my PC at the End of 2016, because Socket 1155 motherboards are discontinued :(
Freaking motherboards, man. Why computers be so complicated!?!
Laura Moore
To be less comprehended by the non techy guys xD
My woodshop project got screwed up the day before I had to turn it in.....it's not like I can work on it at home either
I knew it wasn't your water breaking lol. It's way too early. Everybody's like oh I thought I was about Amanda. Lol.
2 vids 1 day? I was never good at math buuuut....
That's amazing
I am in marching band and I had the opportunity to march in a parade in Paris, France and it was a 6 hour long parade. I play the drums so we have harnesses to hold them and my friends harness snapped during the first hour so he had to march with a broke harnesses for 5 hours. Shortly after my stick broke. So yeah you can say it was a great parade.
Oh Amanda, I wish I could duplicate your beautiful eyeliner!
I love the fact Matt that you had to change the title after you released it because so many people thought that Amanda's water had broken :')
CONGRATS ON THE UA-cam THING!!!
Matt just totally had dad face lol like when he tramples mud in the house looks at mum and goes whoops that look lol
What book was Amanda getting that drink recipe from? It sounded really good!
What time around july is Amanda due? Im just wondering because my birthday is on July 21st!
I think it's Luna... if it's Lunar I'm so sorry I'm not here all the time and I can't hear very good ha
It's really frustrating while trying to find a job. xD
what book does she use for the green juice?
I have terrible luck with my computer!
i had a violin string break in the middle of a show, luckily I was able to fix it quickly on the intermission/half time.
Wow, that must have been frustrating. Once in my orchestra this one person decided they would wrap christmas lights around their base for a concert, long story short the lights burnt the base during the concert. They also ended up buying a new base for the school. The worst part is that the person who did that was my sister.
Amanda's belly
Ya!
Watch the video before commenting. Amandas water did not break.
Thanks. That's not what I was talking about.
+AJlpslover 101 lps lovers unite!
+Brianna Santos what does that have to do with this comment?? lol
Hey did you post the team edge video yesterday?
They said there will be one today instead of yesterday
+Mikie Frysinger oh cool! Thanks
I like your speech at the beginning
I was working on my Criminology report last year for college and just when the final date was due to get it printed off and handed in, my laptop decided it didn't want to work anymore and refused to do ANYTHING. I was up until 1 in the morning working on the final parts of it then it refused to work when I woke up later.
QOTD:
Yup. I'm in color guard at school and during a really big performance called "Steampunk", the cap of MY FLAG CAME OFF AND THE SILK FLEW OFF THE POLE.
It was mortifying.
(I am super late at answering the question but life has just been super busy)
Anyways, I really wanted to answer this because I had my laptop crash on me at the worst possible time.
