Ok so blending teeth probably is easier said than done, but I do think he could’ve tried a bunch of things to get rid of them tbh, even if he went around town flushing them down different public toilets
@@marshallstannus lol 🤣 I’m just messing with you my bro but it did make me laugh because it was just a funny sentence but totally get what you meant! Smart people unfortunately still do dumb things which ultimately why they get caught and why Beck caught Joe
Here's the thing. There are 10 million victims of DV abuse in the US. So I wonder if the new, charming Dexter-Joe-Josh Hartnett type is an avatar for the run-of-the-mill DV abuser on steroids. Because many of us are already dealing with them. But now its a trend cuz over and over again we're being presented with incredibly handsome men with all the privilege in the world who turn out to be quite frightening underneath. Maybe the cinematic arts are trying to help us understand how to look for the warning signs that apparently are part of our everyday life in male-dominated cultures.
That's actually the point of the books that this show is based off of, as well as the movie Promising Young Woman. That, and how pop culture has romanticized a lot of behaviors that would be considered red flags in real life. The issue is the mixed results of writers of varying skill levels trying to make this point to a public that doesn't want to think critically.
10:40 I do think they lost the plot somewhere with Joe because the actor is so nice and great, but the character is shit. In reality, the men who are like Joe are not very intelligent and they usually are lucky and they stumble across people who are vulnerable so I don’t mind him being particularly stupid or bad at crimes because he’s not supposed to be an amazing guy.
I agree, you can't see it on the same pedestal as something like Dexter, this literally premiered on the Lifetime network before finding life as Netflix schlock with actually half decent writing
I lost any love for Joe at the end of season two lol i barely had any but if he couldn’t make THAT work he’s hopeless now i pray for his demise and downfall. It better end in him being caught.
While his thoughts and feelings on beck are unfair and shitty, the show we are seeing isn’t his “version” of events, multiple conversations are had without him, multiple scenes take place without him, we are more so getting an insight into how he feels about what’s taking place. I’m happy to cop that I’m being harsh on beck sure, but I don’t think, at least in season 1, the show is going for a whole “what we’re seeing isn’t actually what happened just what Joe believes etc”, often times something will happen and seconds later we’ll here him go “oh fuck”, it feels as if he’s live reacting almost rather than narrating a story from his past to us,

@@BrandonBridgman I feel like Joe wants to be caught. He's so lonely. He's happiest when he gets to share his sick perversions with someone else.
I love how this show makes 'being pretentious' seem like a bigger crime than murder
🤣🤣😭💀
it is
I love how she’s always Guinevere Beck and never just Guinevere 😂
how often do you say Lucy when referring to Lucy Liu
“Joe is so stupid, why did he keep the teeth? He could have just put them in a blender or something.” 😂

I doubt it but I've love for her to make an appearance in season 5
Nah leave her be. I’m glad he didn’t kill her.

Guinevere Beck is very flawed and doesn’t deserve Joe…is what the show wants us to think.
No it isn’t lol.
First series was definitely the best. I think the series overall went on too long.
This. Season 3 bored me.
Ahhhh, I can’t believe I’m just finding this
