Just did mine very helpful video you posted. I purchased my rebuilt unit from napa for under $190. With a added core charge of $44. (Refunded back to my card when i returned the core) -for the top bolt (must find by feeling )I used a deep socket with wobble adaptor and a small extention.to a 1/4 ratchet. -For the center bollt, i used a 3/8 socket with a long extention to break the bolt free then i used a wobble adapter to extract the bolt thevrest of thevway out. -for the bottom one i used a pass through socket with med size extension Worked perfect. 2 issues i had 1-the positive nut is no longer a 13mm but a 12mm when you replace the unit with a bapa or duralast part it seems...apparently someone already did this job some time back on my used truck as i had a refurbished duralast unit,(main ground copper wire exposed was turning all green and the unit had lots of rust on it.) 2. The small 10mm bolt when Tightening it can damage the black base under it (ask me how i know😅) Napa was kind enough to replace the unit, but the second time i hand tightened the b9lt then gave it a soft tug with my 10mm ratchet and extensive to make sure it stayed on and did not get loose ..also make sure you uee the little lock washer provided. Note: my new napa unit came with a rubber boot/ sleve over the ground wirec that is alway exposed hopefully it helps with corrosion My old unit was very rusty and the ground cable was turning green , im guessing to all the element exposure. Good luck and take your time.
Any shims or anything? I didn't see any but want to be sure before taking mine out this weekend haha. Thanks for the video I was worried about that top bolt but it doesn't seem too bad.
