It's because Phoeyu keeps nerfing m1 damage, every update he makes the cap go higher yes but then it also costs you now 1k stats to reach 50-60 m1 damage whereas before it was only around 600 stats to get 60 m1 and the rest of your stats could go to other things, but from what i see phoeyu has completely killed off hybrid builds and made it so you either choose a spamming fruit and go all fruit like pika, magu or tori or just go full m1, health and enough for extenders. You can go hybrid but the damage isnt consistent and it's not as efficient as maining 1 thing. He also keeps nerfing health, a few updates ago you could go 3k health with 60 m1 but it was consistent with each other whereas now that he nerfed health you can run 60 m1 with 1800 + health, your health is way too low to counter the damage output being given by builds now.

Hybrid builds are still very much viable. Hybrid gomu, hybrid mera, hybrid magu. Hybrid sulong. Hybrid builds are still viable in arena. From my experience hybrid sulong is very busted in arena. I used a build with only 670 in fs (E move damage cap) and used ace with 28 m1. Also hybrid ope is still a thing.
im 1.4k elo NA and there are maybe 3 or 4 other ppl including me that play this elo in my region all other ppl this elo are EU. the problem is that almost all of them are tori ken haki transform spamming which has no counter play. the game is completely unbalanced
back update 1 sure you had infinite combos with 1ss hie or magu black leg but they had no good combat mobility along with that where a pika could fly but had no 1 shot combos rn you pick up venom land 1 move and do 1k damage out of their 2k hp
Gpo has gotten to a point where they just buff the hell out of stuff that doesn't need it like mera and pika and things like sc didn't need nerfing but got it ,things like max hie can do so much damage for no reason but I'm betting that it's not getting nerfed
you shouldnt be using a sword that deals 45 dmg an m1 with extenders, a fruit that has block breakers and extenders and on top of that a fighting style that gives you even more extenders and guard breakers

This game is not balanced in thee slightest way as when I play arena and fighting a most builds I simply want to play blackleg to use diable and I cannot do that because of fruits with transformation can spam me while having a low cooldown and doing high dmg. Or it's just weapons with a certain fruit that cause annoyance that makes me just question why I'm playing this and just well log off the game. This might a skill issue or "Me" promble

Every update had some kind of unbalanced game feature, the current one is just 10 times stronger
try using dullahan + hie ( 900+ points into dullahan) + any weapon you like , its fun :)
