As a local I’m confused by the description…thought the Bloor viaduct was way east before it switches to the Danforth?

Why don't they ever get foam trucks ? Bakery fire is just a gigantic GREASE fire that water isn't gonna fix! Fire started in one of the bakery's ovens!

That place must have had tons of fuel load inside to burn like that... Great video also!

It's a bakery. Crammed full of butter, lard, various cooking oils etc. Surprised they didn't have fire suppression systems.

@@pascalmarch awesome work man... regarding the motorcycle video that was just posted. Mans working at hyundai saw the bike ripping it up kipling. He was killin it with speed.

The flour is like saw dust. It goes up in a big ball of fire because it's lingering everywhere.

What a crumby comment; wouldn’t want to butter it up by replying.

Watching fires like this one, I always wonder what is actually burning. From the colour of the fire it looks a bit like paint thinner or alcohol.

If this is a fifth alarm fire then why is it actually a second alarm fire?

Just curious, what did they manufacture at that location. That was burning quite hot.

Likely initial response from first crews called until more alarms called in as fire spread. Didn't you see the hose pipe way on the left? You'd think a large bakery would have fire suppression systems of foam or dry chemical given the inherent ingredients of butter and oils stored there. Quite flammable

Bakery is full of oil substances. Doesn't mix with water

Etobicoke. At first I thought the fire was in a company making coke for steel production not the name of a town.

In Germany we also have some nice place names! What about "Neustadt am Rübenberge", "Ochtrup", "Gelsenkirchen - Bismarck", "Diepholz"! Have fun!

The end hard-k sound is silent. It’s an English pronunciation spelling of an Ojibwa word that meant “place where the alder trees grow”. It’s a district within the larger city of Toronto.

@@pinlight97 Sounds very poetic! With place names like this one, I would of course ask for the correct pronunciation!

Another one with wasted scene shots. Take some photography and videography courses. People really want to see the flames knocked down not FF running equipment or standing talking.

I agree with Judy Ann..... you missed most of the action. And your rudeness toward the Lady made you the A-hole.

Yea, the fire and police are going to let this guy get the best angles while they deal with a raging fire. Maybe you should have been there, could stood right inside with your iPhone and got the best panoramic view.
