You blew me away with this adventure. Incredible drone footage all around. But visiting that place with you so soon after news broke is rad! Mind blown. Thank you for taking us along. 🙏🏼
This is not Monolithic it is cover four sheet of aluminum and binding by screw and looking at bottom it is somewhat open , it might be wooden cover by aluminum sheets. I am Indian.😁😂😁
I just want to say dude that your film making skills have been on a steady climb throughout this trip and the funny thing is, it's not because you have new, better gear. You have the same stuff you've had from the jump I'm assuming so, great work dude. I really appreciate it. Thanks for sharing!
@@farqueue pretty easy to do with a cordless angle grinder, would take minutes to cut that hole, it's obv man made, sheet metal, riveted together and set in epoxy resin, come on 😂
What gets me is that the chance of people finding on accident is like slim to none. A helicopter happened to spot it, & unless they put it there...im pretty freaked out. & now its gone...wtf.
This makes me want to get back down to southern Utah. There's nothing quite like the feeling of exploring some shady red-rock canyons. Its such a sweet feeling. Cool, quiet, and peaceful.
Wow! What a long journey from tooling around town on electric boards to now myth busting in the desert! Love it. And the drone work was absolutely your best ever. Nice job!!!!
A little disappointed to see pop rivets in it! I was really hoping it was extra terrestrial! Well thanks for saving me the trip from AZ brother! Love the content!
I don't know anything about it, but it's definitely a work of art.. To have a slick surfaced, almost futuristic in appearance, sharp edged design metal sculpture standing alone, in some of the most rugged desert wilderness in the US definitely shows off the contrast art..
the question is when you or whom ever found it, were there any tire tracks or footsteps around that area near to the "monolith"? If there were then it´s planted there
Thank You for finally being someone that showed how it is anchored/placed in the rock floor! Wish we could go to the Mexican Restaurant you mentioned. Love going to really good Mexican restaurants that know how to present a real chile relleno!! Thanks for the vicarious trip and the beautiful scenery. Really jealous of your travels. Safe hunting for future vids!
I bet whoever put it there knew that people would assume that it was an alien artifact and flock down there only to be disappointed. It was the whole idea all along! 🤣 It could be a leftover prop to but drilling a prop into rock is overkill.
The monolith, a 12-foot tall vertical, metal prism, has disappeared from the red rocks of the southeastern desert late Friday evening, according to Bureau of Land Management spokesperson Kimberly Finch. In its place remains a pile of rocks and a smaller pyramid made from, what appears to be, the same material.
so crazy to think someone made that thing in the middle of nowhere however long ago and they might be seeing everyone on the internet discovering it, dope shit, thx for the vid appreciate ur effort
You're in a CNN article man lol I have been off UA-cam for a while and I was just reading the news.. but I saw your picture and said "dude that's Talon".. so I came back to check it out.😂

Man I was a little worried about you hiking around that canyon by yourself but it finally paid off in the end. BTW, the drone footage was 🔥🔥🔥 so of your best of the trip! 🐼🐼🐼
WOW!! The day that it was stolen! I read an Insta post that said that they were there when it was stolen and a group of 2-3 men came and one guy said: "If you can;t take care of it then you can;t have it." They had a wheelbarrow and they left with the parts and the last thing that he said was: "Leave No Trace" How mysterious is that?
Love the idea even if secretly removed and landed elsewhere...Joshua Tree in SoCal has one too. Can't wait to hear where it lands next. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
I saw a news report today (11/29) that the monolith is gone. It appeared and disappeared, so it was reported. I'm glad that you got to see it firsthand and took us along.
Cool! I'm not living under a rock as much as living in work, school and COVID. lol I just found out about this today and you have already been mentioned in other videos so good on you! I also plan to look into that van of yours, very impressive.
i remember a group of guys putting this out there. it was about 20 years ago. i could be off by a little on that. one of the guys said it was epoxied in place and they would have a hell of a time removing it.
crazy how minutes ago I was watching a video of the Keltech sub2000 of yours. then I started researching the monolith and saw another video of yours minutes later.
Damn, seems like a lot of extra work getting those hiking and drone shots. I imagine it adds some time to the hike as well. Sick vid though wish my wife and I could do something like this.
I became a subscriber a few months ago. Thank the pandemic that gave me time to get UA-camd. Comparing your videos over the last couple years I agree that the production values are getting to be cable channel ready. I’m curious though, just how difficult is to drive the van and fly the drone behind the van at the same time ??
Wow, great effort and great video! This area is very popular with off roaders and mountain bikers. Hopefully the monument access trails stays secret for a bit longer.
It is so sad that they have removed it but I still believe there is something there. It seemed to be pointing in a Direction if you are an artist it would be easier just to make it square doesn't seem like it is based off of a movie and the new one that popped up and looked a little bit more artistic if you pay attention it looks like their scales on the new monolith
It's interesting that the ground around it doesn't seem disturbed, aside from the newer turned earth by those showing up after the initial story broke, which suggests it's been there a while. Yet when looking at the very first shots the exterior was shiny and pristine, and seemingly not impacted by the elements at all. 🤔 Does anyone know how deep it's buried?
A nice break in all of these never ending DISTRACTIONS 👍👍👍 Those DRONE shots are amazing ... . ... Thanks your videography was very nice! What a nice guy The Leak Project, that’s how I found you. How do you know that metal is covering some thing more interesting! Maybe it was covered on purpose!
That area looks a lot more treacherous than it does in Google Maps. All of those slat canyons, rocks might look the same if you do not have gps or live in the area. It sucks that someone removed it; especially since there is a tourist attraction literally called "Hole in the Rock" just to the East of the structure.
Well the google maps sat pic has the monolith on it. Idk when they last took a sat pic of the Moab area. But doubt it was to recently. Would be interested in knowing how long it's been sitting there.
This is not monolith at all. It's clear that panels joined at the corner, so the corner rib at the bottom is split, cheaply made. Also along the corner on both sides there is what appear to be the rivets, not monolith at all. But thanks Talon Sei for video, greatly appreciated.
I found it to be esoteric and mysterious in nature, but didn't think aliens for a moment. It's very esoteric like the Washington Monument and ancient Egyptian obelisks as well as the monolith seen in 2001 Space Odyssey. That is stunning country side right there which I need to get out in myself. I really like this the triangular prism geometry used. I guess they got the idea from science fiction and then school when that shape is shown in an 8 inch glass one in science class to refract light. It could have been a teenager to do or it could have been a new age occult group having rituals out there. I see it wouldn't have been too hard to go in a car using the coordinates given out last Wednesday and GPS. I was thinking it was harder and required a 4WD. What kind of van is that you have? Thanks for sharing this for I wondered what it would be like to go. Unfortunately, it was destroyed last Friday night, but very doable for people to make new ones. Hopefully they don't keep putting them in illegal locations, but this should had properly been taken down and to town for tourism as odd art. Being that it was in a public place, it was finders keepers to the first taker.

It's still amazing somebody to install that art piece in such a remote place. Whoever installed it, they spent a lot of time installing it.
It's art? Then I have tons of art in my house. We call it heating duct.
@@robertawalsh2995 If you can make your heating duct stand up in triangular form and drill it perfectly into the rock... then yes it's art
