Good Neighbor Trail Ribbon Cutting - May 22, 2024

To celebrate the opening of the latest segment of the Good Neighbor Trail in Hernando County, FDOT and local community partners held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Tom Varn Park in Brooksville.
The $20 million project was the result of years of collaboration between FDOT, city and county officials, and local community groups - providing a 2-mile completion of the Good Neighbor Trail which closes a significant gap in the trail system through the city.
