Welcome to Peterson Family Farm. On this UA-cam channel, we plan to show viewers what happens on a real life family farm in Kansas. From working with animals, to planting seeds, to harvesting grain, to putting up hay, to fixing equipment, you'll get to see what farming is like! Our farm is a 5th generation farm started in 1882 by our great great grandparents. We grow wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, sunflowers, and forages and we feed about 1,000 head of cattle. To learn more about it, watch our channel intro video here: • Welcome to Our New You...

We live in north central Florida. We have our garden planted, our house is on 1 acre. I’m 71 my beautiful wife for 50 years is 69 come July 21. Any way last years garden was a disaster. We got an education on fertilizer. We had gardens in a different part of Florida, in Oklahoma and in South Carolina and never needed much fertilizer. We tested the garden soil that we purchased from a highly recommended nursery and it had nothing. So we followed directions on the test kit and every is doing great. We have corn, asparagus, tomato’s, peppers, carrots, radishes, summer squash, butternut squash, cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumbers, eggplant, russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, the wife wanted broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and Brussel sprouts. Cold weather plants, but what momma wants she gets. Most planted from seeds. Pretty sure Lime was the biggest fix. Everything is growing nice green heathy looking. Way better than last year. I guess I’m just bragging to ever will read this. Hopefully you will have good year and enough rain. I’ve been following you guys for about two years. Love your channels.😎
