- Hi everyone, I'm back with a kitchen makeover! I wanted to give my kitchen a new look, focusing on a more traditional and cosy style. Hope you enjoy! :)

- Paint for wooden shelves: I used some left over Farrow and Ball primer I had followed by 'Dead Flat' paint in the colour Matchstick. I used the smallest tin 75cl which costs £31 and did 3 coats. www.farrow-bal...
- Kitchen Cupboard Paint (sage) & undercoat from Wilko. (this is no longer available online but may still be in stores).

What a difference the lighter colour makes. It may not be the worlds largest kitchen but you have turned it from a rather cold fairly dark space to a freindly welcoming breath of the country in the heart of a city.

Looks lovely. I have done mine similar on a budget. The whole island thing everyone one wants in kitchens is so boring now and will look dated in a few years time whereas yours will be timeless!

What a gorgeous warm colour..green is my favourite and goes brilliantly with the grey floor tiles. I wrapped my cupboard doors in grey wood effect and have the walls, floor etc green, kinda the opposite of you , to add a bit of warmth. BUT I absolutely adore those handles so may source and add them! Job well done. I think the satisfaction you get from DIY is second to none! Xx

Great change. The kitchen sure looks brighter and very cozy. I really love the sage colour. Of course Pumpkin and Mittens have supervised your work, so it's well done. And I'm sure they will enjoy hiding behind the curtain. I'd like to point out, if you may permit me, to put two curtains to cover the whole space instead of just one. They will need to be cut and sewn, but i think it will be worth it. The lamp touch is great too.

My kitchen is broken and definitely needs transforming on a budget. I love the idea of the blind instead of a door. I am going to use that idea instead of replacing all thr doors.😊😊

Highly recommend having a white China sink put in - not a butler one - but one that is the same size as the one there atm. I did it to update my kitchen on a budget - made huge difference xxx
