i was extremely fortunate to witness this outstanding Arangetram program in person in its entirety, and then watch this video again to TRY to take it all in! And when i say witness, that includes hearing the phenomenal musical performance as well as the intros to people and dance numbers and the speeches! It's impossible for me to describe all the feelings i went through seeing the jaw dropping performance of the twins, but you can be sure i will try, if not in this post, then in my next. For those that don't know me, my motto is: why use an entire word when a mere paragraph will do! 😊. Oh by the way, my name is balkee. My wife Padma and i run a Sunday school in Columbus, OH and we were fortunate to have Sahana, Sapna and Sanjana as students in our school for a few years. All three of them donated the proceeds from their respective arangetrams to worthy, charitable causes; they made their God-given, parent-nurtured, teacher-honed and self-perfected talents reach much further than just the audience that attended their program! Padma and i are incredibly proud of them. Before i stop for now, i want to wish all three children the best in life and career, and most of all, happiness! Sapna and Sanjana, i have never seen twins perform in an arangetram before, and the two of you made it unforgettable with your synchronized and coordinated movements, sometimes doing the same thing and sometimes doing the opposite (mirror image). That must be extremely difficult! Especially from the point of view of someone like me who has two left feet! And both of your SOLO performances were everything to write home about! i was joking with them after the program that there is a federal law against having so much talent in one family. You'll know what i mean if you'll just cue to the 3:03 mark and take a look at the array of young and younger ladies, all in the family, trained by Shubha Parmar, Rajesh's sister! This is my favorite shot of the evening! By the way, i suspect the men are no slouches, either!
At the outset we congratulate the Gurus who were responsible to bring out the talents in the children. Great. The singing and percussion were melodious. We liked the very moving and loving speech of Mrs Gomathy and she gave a detailed account of everything about the event and family. Both Sanjana and Sapna lived upto her grand mothers expectations by grace of God. Mr Thampi has briefly blessed them having made a trip only for this purpose from Kerala. Smitha was good in her oration as also Dr Rajesh. Good to see all ladies in stage. So thrilling. Finally it is not an exaggeration that the twins Sanjana and Sapna gave a grand performance and lived upto the expectations of all admirers from USA and India. Sahanas few words were encouraging. I am continuing to witness. But hastily adding comments which cannot wait till 3 hrs till end of program. Our best wishes and prayers. Grand event indeed. Missing it . God bless all. Please ask the to show some close up shots of performance
