It's ironic wasps have been invadind my house through the bathtub drain. This could be a major issue my landlord might kick me out to deal with.

There's probably a nest under the tub or floor. Getting rid of it is easy if u follow instructions. Wasps are basically blind in the dark so they usually won't fly. You or the landlord needs to get a few cans of spray and wait for dark and turn off the lights, a flashlight is okay. The adults will be sleeping on top the nest, soak the nest and put it into an outdoor trashcan. Wasps will build a nest near water so if there's a leak or drip going under the bathroom, that's where the nest is. Not all wasp nests get built by water but since you said they are coming from the drain then they pick a water source to live by. At night they won't fly enough to chase you, so that's when to spray and get rid of the nests
@@karenv5103 They're actucually coming up from the drain. Every time after I shower and I'm drying off I can hear them buzzing. The water is disturbing them, And when they come into my tub, They are wet and lethargic. I can easily catch them and take them outside. I just fear I'm going to wake up one morning and there's going to be 100 wasps in my house.
@@FGFGrateful That's very scary! They will chase ppl if they feel a need to defend the nest and then u get stung over and over until they quit being mad. It almost seems like there's a broken pipe and they went through the crack to build the nest. An idea is to use a bee keepers suit when he's looking for all the nests. When they are being ignored they can build a huge colony of nests. You would be safer to stay at a friend's until he's done dealing with the wasps. The stings hurt like crazy and if a bunch come after you... some wasps are called hornets and you can Google a list of them if you are interesting in knowing what kind you have. Kind of odd they built a nest in a spot where they are being interrupted often by a shower. If you have a drippy outdoor faucet or a shed no one goes into that's a place they really like building. I always spray them after dark but if you can hear them during a shower, it might be a large nest
@@FGFGrateful it's probably no coincidence that I read your wasp comment. Ever since I've learned how easy it is to spray them at night, I have always told people that when I find out they have a nest. I've never missed a chance to tell someone cause I want people to be safe around them. I like watching cancer videos but this is the first time I've seen a video by this youtuber. Keep a can of spray, it usually knocks them down on contact and have a fly swatter to use if you anger them by accident
