Saw him at hampden 1960 European cup final Real Madrid 7 eintracht 3 I was 12 years old. In the semifinals eitntracht had taken 12 off a good Rangers team and quite a lot of fans fancied them to win. Not a chance as puskas scored 4 I’m now coming up for 76 but the memories still burn brightly
He came to australia many years ago and watched our junior team play and said my coach “ who is that number 10 he has a beautiful touch of the ball “ that was me. Im still lost for words he said that about me
Maradona is far far better than Ferenc, drama has nothing to do with happens on the field. In fact, lack of drama is boring, no charisma, no special character.
Rivallino and Cruyff had better left feet imo. But if Totti was the best right footed playmaker number 10 then Pancho would have been the best left footed playmaker.
Not many people alive today have seen him actually play, furthermore,tv was not nearly as prevalent in his era as today. In his prime in the early and mid fifties it was pretty much non existent in Europe.😊
Dude slow as a tortoise... He worked in the slower era of his time. In today's faster tempo game, he'd be caught doodling on the ball umpteen times. He never had fast athleticism & his slow portly frame, would also be a hindrace in the modern game. From that 50s-60s era. Only: Di Stéfano - Matthews - Pelé - Eusébio - Best, had the frame - speed-athleticism - agility-tempo, that could translate to the modern game.

That's a beautiful memory of probably the greatest left foot in football...👍
Como ele jogava?
The one & only 'Galloping Major' a Game Changer who, like so many before or since, transcended the sport & fashioned it into an Art Form.
Thanks for sharing. Best r. from Hungary 🙂

Cap
Cap
Real cap
I can imagine that tho because he did coach in Australia, inspired postecogleu to become a manager afterwards, so it is possible. Props
@@Gojo42069 what does mean 'cap'?
If you have to name 10 best , Puskas must be one of them …and that was then , when football was football.
Fabulous and will remain so,........Look at his passes besides his shooting....
The greatest contributor to inventing modern football. And that is why he was also the first global football icon.
Ferenc puskas
Amazing player Puskas was. He reminds of Maradona, without the drama.
Maradona is far far better than Ferenc, drama has nothing to do with happens on the field. In fact, lack of drama is boring, no charisma, no special character.
@@mars27970 What? No drama no character? You must be joking.
Probably the first best left foot before Maradona and Messi
what I saw here made me think of Kevin DeBruyne...
Rivallino and Cruyff had better left feet imo. But if Totti was the best right footed playmaker number 10 then Pancho would have been the best left footed playmaker.
Class as good as any player I’ve seen. For me a legend
3:49 even Messi and Ronald are not enough for that. Puskás the best🙏🥰🇭🇺
Don't exagerate, your bias is too much.
Thanks for sharing.
One of the best ever seen.
Genius
Stunning, it's like him and the ball are one and then there's just some other guys on the pitch.
Don't exagerate
The goal against my country England one of the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome
I can't help but notice that a lot of these great goal scorers were left footed.
3:47 is incredible
Master with ball Puskas.
the best
As far as technique looks like the best ever..
It shows you are an ignorant kid with your silly comment
germany pumped with dope to win against this hungarian masterteam...
I am lucky because we watched many matches together in Kispest.
fantastic tribute. he is a little bit underrated imo
He’s not really underrated ask anyone they will tell you he’s one of the greatest of all time
@@edenal7145 yes i mean many people think he is maybe not a top 10 player ever or some players were better who were probably not
@@edenal7145 bro literally no one in history ive asked whos the goat they say puskas wha

Música contagiante
Imagine if Puskás, CR7, R9, Di Stefano and Zidane played in the same era 😳
Imagine if Puskas, di Stefano, Sivori, Pele, Eusebio and Bobby Charlton played in the same era!
@@elspencer6334My point is that all the players I mentioned would play for Madrid and it would be a super team
@@McFlashh It wouldn't though, would it? Too many cooks spoil the broth and the travails of Didi at Real Madrid are a classic case in point.
I’ve never seen such a left foot, now I understand how big he was.
The greatest player ever to put on a pair of football boots,I'm proud to say that's my nickname.
He's nowhere near greatest player, he's not even Argentine or Brazilian.
Aveva il telecomando ai piedi. Oggi avrebbe vinto tutto

Reminds me of Maradonna and Gazza
His style remember Cassano
Gazza
He was the first reason for number 10, not Pelé
Lembra o Maradona um pouco canhota nervosa
Charles charlie charles would of cooked this man .
Forgett Ronaldo Messi
