Chadwick Boseman and Nelsan Ellis two Beautiful Souls that we've had the pleasure of knowing...May The Most High God Continue to Shine His Grace on Them..You Will Never Be Forgotten😪👑🙏❣❣
He absolutely did. Unfortunately the directing was the reason why it didn't do well. The movie was all over the place. I was watching it with my husband, who isn't familiar with James Brown, and he felt like he was missing things throughout the movie. Asking me 'wait wasn't he a young man just now. Wait is this scene before it after..., etc. etc.' If the movie doesn't grasp you and flows into flashbacks, it loses. The flashbacks were so abrupt and not easy to get used to. Even for those who were paying attention and following the storyline. Wonderful job by the wonderful Bose. May he Rip
@@OumTHMDY id say that the movie was better bc of that So many biopics have this up hill trajectory and in a way i think the choice encapsulates how unhinged and all over the place his life was.
James Brown was something else. My dad made sure I listened to James Brown growing. I’m talking about way back to the beginning James Brown when he sang like a bird🥰👏🏾
I disagree with the director , I loved the movie , but I feel like the story would’ve been better if told linearly instead of constant flashbacks to the future and past as he did
I think they also could've shed more light on his dancing since it was such a big part of his persona. Like they could've showed how he learned to dance. I can't say Chadwick had his dancing down because for one, he's obviously taller and thicker than James was, so wasn't as light on his feet, but he did what he could do with what he had to work with. IDK anyone be else who could've pulled off James's look, speech, and singing voice.
It's amazing how the good die young, because Chadwick Boseman was a genius as an actor. He played so many roles as historical Black figures - Jackie Robinson, James Brown, Thurgood Marshall. I wrote this article about him after he died topviewtv.com/chadwick-boseman-succumbs-to-silent-fight-with-cancer-dies-on-aug-28th-2020/
Chad was born to play this role!! It was beyond awesome!!
I saw this last night and Chadwick Boseman deserves an Oscar!! I couldn't believe my eyes. Sometimes I REALLY thought I was looking at James Brown!

Don't know why it didn't make money though. It was a good movie. Chad Boseman did a remarkable role and should've got the best actor award.

Genialny Aktor. Żal serce ściska ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I SAW THA MOVIE, AND PERSONALLY THOUGHT IT WAS 'ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS'....🤗😂
I like the Chadwick's James Brown more than liked James Brown.
Aight, my guy you gotta chill 😂😂😂😂
Who's here because of his death?
"Bi-opic"
Not many people know that he also played Marshall
You dame right
The dancing wad shallow compared to the real person. I saw him in person and I have never seen a show as good in all these years.
Understood.
Sharon Powell
Honey I doubt you or I ever will.
However thats the closest to mr.J.B.we will ever get..

BUT THA PART WHERE 'THA "WL" USED HIS BATHROOM & TOOK A "DUMP"!!!!!🙄🤣❤
"What did you do to even......"
Unless the next words are "the score" or "the landscape", that's not the right use of "even".
Woo WEEE Damn Jasmine Simpkins if fine
Tate Taylor said "Since we left out any story or character, his performance is the entire movie, which makes me a horrible director."
Jill was gorgeous
