For someone that came from just playing traditional and electronic drums these videos are very necessary. Although the plug and play aspect is easy trying to deep dive even with the manual is overwhelming. The audition icon explained on another video is a game changer for me, I’ve been tediously going through each set writing down the ones I like. Would love to see a set setup from scratch. Keep up the great work.
Glad the videos have been helpful! And thanks for the suggestion; we definitely plan to post a "building from scratch" video, so keep an eye out for that 👀
Please make that video! the learning curve on this is huge... Also, did you work through the process of working through the software while not being plugged into the Portal?? It seem my newly made wav sample wont make sound unless plugged into it?@@SunhouseInc
Hi @@FriskRobotnik - the audio engine is not on unless there is an in/out device selected. So if you open SPv2 after unplugging your Portal, you'll see the last used device (your portal) listed in red in the status bar on the bottom right. You just need to click that and pick another device like your built-in computer microphone and speakers to reenable to audio engine. Then you'll hear sound again. Let me know if that works for you. thanks!
Very helpful videos, can't wait for more!
Thanks! We love what you've been doing with the new system!
