    Greetings From California. Very lovely of the Canyon. Yes it is beautiful but Grand Canyon in Arizona is something else. Beautiful video execution. Love it. 🙏❤🙏

      Thanks a lot! Yes, no doubt the real Grand Canyon is way more impressive and bigger, but for us around here the Gorges du Verdon are as good as it gets… Greetings to California 😊

    Good video and commentary. I was intrigued by the accents, and saw that you were German. I thought a hint of South African at one point, but it was pretty good overall and the French pronunciation perfect. Good filming and editing too. I'd be keen to visit when there are less people around. I like the look of the river and, will research further.

      Thanks 🙏 ! July and August are crazy busy in certain places in the South of France, June and September probably perfect, though less stable weather wise… But compared to the coast it is way less crowded at the Verdon canyon even in summer. Heat can be more of a problem. Anyway: it’s worth seeing! 👍

    ^ LOVe your videos. So i was trying to research but still have a hard time. I wanted to do eze village and menton in 1 day from Nice. But, only way to get to the village from Nice is to take the 82 BUS. But, getting down from eze village seems like a pain( dont want to walk) but i can take a bus to Monaco and then from Monaco train to Menton does that seem right? Also would St. Paul de Vence and Menton be more doable?

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  Рік тому

      Thank you! It is in fact quite a trip… and we couldn’t find an easy way to get to Menton from Eze village, either.
      I think it’s best to do it in 2 days: Eze is easy from Nice. And you could try to see Cap Ferrari or Villefranche sur Mer in the same trip.
      And to get to Menton from Nice you just take the train. You could stop in Monaco and do those 2 in one day.
      We use the app “Moovit” (tuned to “Nice Côte d’Azur” in the settings) to get around on public transport 😊

    Any connectivity by bus ?

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  2 місяці тому

      Pretty complicated. There‘s Zou bus no. 51 from Nice to Digne-Les-Bains which stops in Castellane (=beginning of the canyon in the east), takes 2 hours. But from Castellane you need another bus to get to the impressive places; there’s no. 450 from Castellane to Rougon and La Palud which are next to the canyon… but to really appreciate the grandness of it and especially do a full circle I think a car is more suitable
