I love everything about this, including the title! The storm duo beads made perfect leaves. Thank you for inspiring us to get out of our flat spiral rut and try some different beads! You are amazing!
The “prop” (blue focal) beads are more commonly known as “stepped turbine” beads. The color play of different coatings is interesting. This red luster on jet reminds me of mixing black and yellow paint… that gives you green!
Thank you for your knowledge!! I have never heard of stepped turbine beads until now. How do you know these things? And that color mixing makes a lot of sense. 🩵
Wow! This is one of the coolest bracelets I've ever seen! Love your use of different beads and the very patient way you describe what you are doing. Very nice! ❤
Yes, I think Superduos or MiniDuos could also work - you just adjust the bead counts as necessary. You might want to put the Superduos before a small crystal or an accent 11/0 then go into the core due to the different shape. You might also want to adjust the number of seed beads at the top of the loop. Hope that helps!
That is a beading mat - some people use portable beading boards, but you need a soft surface to keep your beads from rolling off your table. Here’s what I’m using (they come in a variety of colors) and it’s a kind of velvety surface without any fibers to get caught on. www.potomacbeads.com/tools-supplies/bead-boards-mats-and-trays/1380.html?affid=571564
Hi! These are the needles. Size 10 is the fatter one which I use most of the time. This pack has sizes 10, 11 and 12. The larger number is the smaller needle. www.potomacbeads.com/tools-supplies/beading-needles/beadtec-beading-needles-sizes-10-11-12-mix-pack-of-6.html?affid=571564

Can you use another bead rather than storm duos? Would super duos work? Thank you. Lovely bracelet.

Also what do you use to keep your beads in place? What are they laying on?
