- Hey guys what's up it ya boy Mike here with season 2 episode 6!! This episode was Crazy. I cant wait for Rob to come back and destroy Theon. Cannot beleive Neckbeard is gone. RIP to the homie with best facial hair I've ever seen on any television show. Also Poor Sansa.. shes gone through so much.. whats gonna happen to Khaleesis dragons?! Sorry this edit took a little bit we've been having some serious technical issues but we're working through them slowly but surely. When Charles Dance angrily yells "to the Starks of Winterfell" during the war council meeting, for a second I forget it's a show and shit my pants. That man has such an intimidating presence.

The courage shown by Ser Roderick just before Theon beheads him is a real man when he turns to Bran and says "i'm off to see your father" i must admit i got a bit misty eyed!! But then when he turns to Theon and says "gods help you Theon Greyjoy for you are truly lost" i got chills!! Fantastic reactions guys!!

I had the same journey as you, with being SO frustrated with her annoying naive ass at first and then just feeling SO bad for the poor girl.
The writers really did an amazing job with her character

I wanted to comment on a couple of things y'all mentioned. One, just because a rape did not happen today doesn't mean they're above raping anybody in this show. Let's just remember Daenerys's wedding night with Khal Drogo, for example. Or the events that eventually led to the death of Khal Drogo. This show is big on showing us the human capacity for cruelty. But Sansa is still really young, and I think even this show didn't want to go that far. Two, in Renly's defense, unlike Daenerys and Joffrey, Renly actually did have some leadership experience. He was a member of the King's Council under King Robert, and they were responsible for the day-to-day details of managing the kingdom. I don't remember exactly what his job was, but that experience did give him a leg up over Daenerys and Joffrey at least. And unlike Daenerys or Joffrey, the people of Westeros actually loved him. They hate Joffrey, and they just don't know Daenerys because she's been in exile her entire life. Now of course, that doesn't necessarily mean he would have been a good king, but at least he already had some kind of leadership experience in Westeros and people who backed him in Westeros. Now, Stannis IS the rightful heir to King Robert, and he is a very intelligent and capable leader. Maybe Stannis will make a good king, but he simply doesn't command the loyalty of the people the way that Renly did. Or the way that Robert did. He's just not that likeable. And what he's doing in the name of the red god isn't great. So it'll be interesting to see how all of this conflict and all of these competing would-be monarchs end up by the end of the series.
I did forget about Khaleesi and Drogo in season 1!! I think its because eventually they formed feelings for each other so I kind of blocked out all the horror lol
Good catch on the Jon and Theon contrast. Another thing to pay attention to is the Jon and Robb contrast that they're building.
Love and duty
Theon is one of my favourite characters, I loved reading his PoV chapters in the books, in this season he does a lot of really bad things, but you can’t help but sympathise and pity him… he is a man who is struggling to find identity, he has no real home, he isn’t a stark or Greyjoy, the choice he has to make is an impossible one, as he belongs nowhere, he has no home on the iron islands where he was taken from as a boy, and no home in winter fell where he was a hostage… in the books he hated Ned, Ned killed his brothers and took him from his home, he treated him well enough but Theon knew that if his father would act up and rebel again Ned would take Theon’s head… I absolutely love Theons story

They actually shot those scenes in Iceland. The landscapes are real though they sometime do look unreal. They had local guides with them who told them when the weather was about to change. When the crew wanted to spend another thirty minutes for the final shot of the day, the guides told them: "We have to leave now or we will stay forever."

People seem to disagree on whether Baelish noticed Arya or not. Even tho it's left open ended, the camera focus on his face almost wants you to believe that he did. But it's equally likely that he didn't recognize her. Even if he did we wouldn't know. Baelish is the type of person who keeps his cards close to his chest. When he asked Tywin "A proposal from Tyrion concerning Catelyn Stark's daughters", that might've been his way of trying to see if Tywin knew who the little girl was. When Baelish realized Tywin didn't, he decided to hold on to that card.

Charles Dance plays Tywin, I've loved him in everything I've seen him in. He has real gravitas. The other actors said when he was on the set they could feel his presence.
Generally speaking, when you summon up a demon or a spirit into the real world, it's to do one specific task, and once that job is completed, it's free to go back to whence it came. So, no- you won't be seeing that particular shadow demon baby again.

Sir Rodrick had a pretty thick neck and it also was tied together by a neck beard. You can't blame Theon for that.
I believe Theon could not cut Rodrick's head off in one swipe b/c he did not have a Valerian steel sword (e.g. like Ned did) which is stronger and sharper than other steels.

Unfortunately, the soundtracks could come under copyright laws so if they talk over it or cut it But I do understand where you coming from But the video is for us to see there reaction not to watch the show
Soo the audio you guys here is added in post!!! Our microphones pic up our voice and nothing else, so during editing I end up muting the video of us, and overlaying the separate audio track of our voices. And then overlaying an MP4 of the show on top of that. From there I cut away and move things around to try and create a steady narrative for each episode. Basically it's ALOT of work but I can assure you we have the TV blasted whenever we watch :)

Jon is good...but it quickly bleeds into stupidity like most of the starks.why the lannisters are the best family.also dany demanded the spice king give her all his means of survival and then threatens his life if he dont and hes the jerk in that situation?weird.
Plus, the spice merchant wasn't wrong. He doesn't know her and she is very naive about what she needs to retake the iron throne in Westeros. He's being very practical and realistic.

That’s a really good accent! Sounds like either the Riverlands or the Westerlands.
The full implication of Theon's invasion might slip under the radar. But for the first time in centuries the Starks no longer hold Winterfell. The whole North is now open for taking in this civil war. Can Theon hold the North with the Ironborn so far out of their element? Can Robb take it back? Or is someone else waiting in the wings? Will we see the Stark banner flying over Winterfell again? What does this mean for Robb's war against Tywin in the Riverlands? Lots of moving parts.
Plus, we see here that Theon is very insecure because he primarily killed Ser Roderick under pressure from the men he was theoretically supposed to be leading. They intimidated him into doing it, and he did it to appease them, but that also showed his own weakness in the face of their pressure. They don't respect him.

And this might just be me but Mike? I think is your name? Sorry, I am bad with names. The guy with lots of hair. I think your talking too close to the mic. I turn the volume up so I can actually hear the dialogue( I know you have to lower the volume for the dialogue) in the show and almost every time you speak your nearly blowing my speakers out. If you watch your vids, the other dude speaks about 4 or more inches from the mic and I have no problem at all with his voice. But your lips are actually touching the mic and it's like this huge boom of bass every time you speak.
Sorry about by that!!! We're still very new at this and constantly trying to improve our overall quality. My gain definitely needed to be lower on this episode forsure. Will take note on episodes 9 and 10 when we record tommorow!!! I'll try to stay conscientious about it as I edit 7 and 8. Thanks for the support :)

It was meant as constructive criticism from someone who watches a lot of reactions and seeing the differences. To be honest with you, thats my only criticism and it's not a game changer or anything. More an easily corrected mistake. Every reactor has their on unique style and yours is more unique than most. Which makes it more enjoyable for me. Your anything but vanilla. The only other improvement would be if you got some hot woman that "likes to show off" her assets to join in with your reactions. LOL. Then I wouldn't even notice the mic issue.

Tbh i never hated theon, i know many people hated him when he did all of these things in winterfell but i felt bad for him more than anything. Of course i was angry at him but i always tend to sympathy for characters like him, he was put in a situation that i just felt bad for him... He's one of my favorite characters in this show because no matter how is see it, all i see is a young man who wanted acceptance and a flawed man did many mistakes but never a bad man, he did bad things but deep down i think he's just broken.

All the horrendous things that happen in this show, you don't think they'd show some *ape shiit.. and yall are just beginning .. 🤔
The only thing that I don't like about S2 is Dany's storyline/character arc and don't understand why the show altered her so much from the books. She is very young (in the show max 15 years old, younger in the books) and she doesn't behave like an entitled brat in the books. I understand that the show has to condense the books but they could have shown a few of her "dreams" which do have a lot of meaning and Qarth was much more interesting.
Not sure what book you read but she was much worse in the books then the show.her bad behaviour was alot more frequent and mixed with less "good dani"
Actually, book Dany is very shady, manipulative, ruthless, and narcissistic. The series made her much more likeable, but the entitlement is accurate.
@@janeathome6643 I suppose what I learnt about her from her dreams is how conflicted she is and how Quaithe's interactions with her make her even more confused. Her time in the desert was really brutal.
And she didn't threaten to burn down Qarth when she first arrived, she was quite meek.
