Airfrance was the first airline to ever land at Tegel so they got to be the last to take off "Air France was the inaugural carrier into Tegel back in 1960,"
They could fully demolish this airport or demolish (or rebuild) terminals or even making on this airport an aviation museum (just like in Krakow, where, in 1960's, aviation traffic was moved to Balice, today, unfortunately, there's an problem during it's expantion, because near the airport area is the cementery located in the nearby village called Morawica (owned by an church) and MT Technologies' HQ (located in the former road to the same cementery), flight operation should be moved to Pobiednik airbase or to the another existing passengers' airport in this area (in this case, Katowice-Pyrzowice airport)).

The one airport which was so small I managed to walk past the baggage reclaim and had to wait nearly an hour to retrieve my bag in a small room!
Sorry for that, I nearly always got my suitcases fast.

In my opinion, the airport should be turn into a museum.
Would be nice, but the Berlin government has other plans...

Why isn't this airport being adapted for general aviation, reliving that burden on the city's other airports?
The government doesn't want any airports in Berlin... They see too many risks and inconveniences.

i ve heard multiple different things will happen with each building some will become offices some event places etc
The main terminals will be used for a college campus while the rest might be developed into a tech park or commercial space.
The Terminal’s gonna become the University of Applied Sciences, and shops, schools, housing are gonna be built on the tarmac
Besides: a/the school for fire brigades will be established and/or enlarged

And Lufthansa had never a real and deep commitment to Berlin Airports anyway, in my opinion.
