Great Video! I have a Passport 42 and when the woodworker came out he used epoxy on the bungs. Do you think that was unnecessary? He also drilled the bung hole only a bit deeper and put the screw back in. Does the "no screw" only apply to HR boats? Thank for posting! Love those Hallberg Rassy's!

Is this process unique to Halberg Rassey built yachts? I’m not sure about skipping the screw part on my Taiwan built Hans Christian, or Tayana, Choey Lee, etc.

Philippe, you can use a tool like this to cut your own plugs: www.leevalley.com/en-us/shop/tools/power-tool-accessories/drill-bits/32320-veritas-imperial-tapered-snug-plug-cutters?item=05J0511&gclid=CjwKCAjwoZWHBhBgEiwAiMN66fXKLcFXhKYBne3his_Auawzi5q32Iki7Z8IC4g3UAcuL74DBIKGIxoCIIEQAvD_BwE

Closed cell core maybe, but a lot of older Swedish boats have a balsa core in the deck. Get water in there and you have a big problem.
