All the scenes with the safe were made without CGI, they actually built a safe around a truck so that a stuntman could literally "drive" the safe through the streets of Rio. And it is estimated that nearly 260 cars were destroyed during filming.
A fair bit of the scenes with the safe actually have a good bit of CGI were they replace the safe with a digital one to add detail and make it better. But yeah they did film almost all of it with a physical safe that moved around, the CGI is just to add a little extra spice to the scenes. A few seconds of were it went through the bank they did the safe entirely digital. Similar to how all the flying jets in Top Gun Maverick are actually 100% CGI, but they did film the scenes with real training jets first in order to use them as reference. Makes the animation work and CGI work easier and much better.
@@NorwayVFXi watched a breakdown on the bank scene nd it was actually real, everything had to be timed perfect including the people who were inside that we see running through the bank
The scenes with the vault were filmed in Puerto Rico, mainly the financial district of Hato Rey. The long bridge is the Teodoro Moscoso that connects Hato Rey with the entrance to the International Airport. Back in the day when I used to live there almost crashed against that bridge’s concrete side when a ball joint broke off at about 70MPH, that was scary.
27:31 The "two-pack a day man for sure" conversation Giselle is having with Han right here is a reference to the film "Better Luck Tomorrow" from 2002. It's not part of the F&F franchise but it's CONNECTED to it as it serves as Han's origin story. "Better Luck Tomorrow" was directed by Justin Lin who has been connected with the "F&F" franchise since "Tokyo Drift" in some form or another.

Of course with Resident Evil it went on till they decided to go back to their roots and make a proper horror again after a few more games with RE7, meanwhile the Fast franchise has just gone full sci-fi action and never looked back.

To be honest I know a lot of people think theres no way this could be possible with the vault scene but just imagine the same cable they are using are close enough to the same strength of a crane which can easily lift about 20 tons to 40 ton all together, with two cars at maybe a minimum of 1500 hp and maybe 800to 1000 ftp of torque for reference most semi trucks hauling 40tons max is 525hp and 1500 foot pound, then for those who say the vault would rip the car apart, those could easily be truck chassis with the rope kit welded on frame. Its really not that implausible, pick up trucks are used to rip truck stumps out of the ground.

This is the turning point where the stunts go from somewhat realistic to absolutely batshit crazy.
This is definitely my favorite fast movie. I seen this one in the theater. It was so much fun. RIP, Paul.!!!
In case you both are wondering, the cars that Roman and Tej got are Koenigsegg Agera CCRX. And for all intents and purposes, they're not street legal.
I love this the best movies ever and love the saga can’t wait to see Fast and Furious 6
Going to get crazier!
Been waiting for this one since you started the first 🔥
This is one of my favs. The rock is the best at over the top!
Can’t wait for you guys to watch 6, my favorite one that brought me back into the franchise @ a young age. I loved it where some didn’t like it but you gotta admit it’s a good story 😮💨
It only gets crazier from here.
"AQUI É O BRASIL" KKKK ÓTIMO VÍDEO 🇧🇷
9:21 that suv is a Knight XV and it's insane how massive they really are
50:13 that would be a Koenigsegg from Sweden. That car actually has the record for the highest speeding ticket ever given in the US, in Texas a guy went 242 mph in a 75 mph zone. Also has in my opinion the coolest doors ever, because the car is so wide it couldn't do normal doors lol
This Is My Favorite One , Great Reaction Guy's
WOW, all of the times I've watched this movies I never realized that was the undercover lady from the second movie, the one brian kept flirting with at the end with hobb's!
these movies all happen before tokyo drift thats why hanh is still alive because he died in Tokyo drift
One of my favorites watching with my family in theater’s!
Idk who want to hear this but this content is like a therapy for me I live alone and have no one to talk and watching this make feel like I’m with em and make my mind busy and not depressed ❤
