Love the mirror rant! People seem to want a mirror in every makeup product but then most of us have bigger mirrors in our house. And who wants to carry a mirror in every eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, powder and foundation while traveling? It's so unnecessary. A separate small mirror can do the job easily
I can’t remember the last time I used the mirror in a compact or palette. I always use my mirror I keep on my desk. No reason to have them I packaging

Next time try with pore filling primer and set the primer with loose powder before applying the balm. Then follow with a light dusting of powder. I have oily skin and this technique works well for me.

I so agree about the mirror thing - especially when influencers say they want mirrors, sitting in their beauty rooms with massive built in mirrors and hundreds of palettes and compacts around them. Use any of the ones who have?! KVD’s last palette was also fully recyclable - I really hope it becomes more standard in the industry.
I personally like having a mirror on the palette I’m using. I don’t want more clutter than I need. And I use two. The one in the palette and my bathroom mirror.🤷🏽♀️
This foundation definitely peeked my interest as well. I have oily skin though, so I’ll definitely give this one a go in the winter time when my skin is typically drier.

Man I have the Kevyn Aucoin foundation balm, and other than the fact that it's a bit too dark for me, it's one of my favorites. I find a foundation balm so easy to apply. It's a no-muss-no-fuss format and I'm here for it. I'm gonna have to try this out/pick this up... o.o

I have this foundation. The coverage and finish are off the chain. I am an oily girl. I doubt that I can wear this on 90 degree humidity. But I'm loving it in this 75 degree weather.

Oh noooo that transfer power lolol. 🤣 I used to use Benefit's cream-to-powder foundation ages ago and it would transfer like hell. Until i perfect my transfer-proof setting spray game i might not pick this up yet to try. Hopefully by then i can swatch at Sephora again ahhh! 😁

That was a fantastic comprehensive try on and review. Really well covered. I know foe definite that the product is not for. Even though I'm over 50, I have extremely oily skin. This would be great for those wit dry and normal skin types.

When they announced it, I was so intrigued as a desert-skinned person, and when it was released I kept checking for reviews but there were barely any, and then suddenly there were a couple of sponsored videos and I kept dithering cos I wasn’t sure exactly what shade I would be and then I heard it was blowing up TikTok and it sells out just when I make up my mind and the store near me has an offer on! Should have gone with my gut!

Looks pretty on you but I just can't deal with the transfer on those levels. I'm to extra with my look and this would just upset me. I do like that it's a balm texture. makes me feel like it would be better for the winter to keep the skin hydrated and if we didn't have to wear mask, even better. Thanks Tina for the great review.
