Don't use -wireless- induction charging for overnight charging. It's less efficient and creates more heat, which degrades batteries. Always use a cable for overnight charging. Also, if you're willing to spend, invest in a cable that detects when the phone is fully charged and cuts off power, so it doesn't trickle charge all night, which also hurts batteries. I just plug my phone in when I wake up, and in the hour or so it takes me to get ready to go to work, I'm at 100% again. No need to bother with overnight charging at all.
i wouldn't recommend buying those fancy cables i bought a couple of them expensive ones and guess what somehow they did not function properly harming the batteries rather than helping your lithium batteries already have a built-in cut-off controller that sends signals ordering your smart chargers to stop excessive charging yet this only works only when your phone is turned off where it stays at 100% or its maximum optimized level just don't let it charge overnight while its turned on make sure you use quality smart chargers like Qualcomm's it gives a safer temp limit compared to all the rest i've tried so far 🙏

@10:50 if it's at 100% it might degrade a little bit faster? This is a well documented phenomena. It's extremely relevant for EV cars. Chevrolet's engineers found that there's a significant reduction in charge capacity after ~300 cycles to 100%, and that trend continues. When charge to 80%, that same reduction takes ~3,000 cycles! Your phone's battery would go from maintaining its capacity from the current 1-2 years to 10 years if you only charged it to 80% (and only discharged to 20%). This is why all electric cars either force you to only charge to 80% or give you the option.
Neil Murphy The iPhone 6 came out in 2014. And you can just jailbreak your phone and install always on display tweaks. Apple’s walled garden is no more.
I'm not a power user, so I've managed to keep my phone between 20% and 80%. I intentionally disconnect the phone from the charger before it hits 90% if I can. It would be nice if it there was an option to adjust the percentage the phone charges to.
I dont know that much about phones but i do know that it is better for the phone if you let it charge to 100%. especially if you just bought it and you are charging it for the first time. Just some helpful advice. I like your idea of being able to adjust the percentage of which the phone charges to.
close the apps you're not using. not by swiping them off, force shut them in the settings, but don't touch any system related stuff. disable notifications, background usage and auto-restart of the apps unless you really need these features, like for messaging apps. uninstall or disable apps you never use, they could be doing something in the background. on some phones you can lower the screen resolution, that also helps.

Most know if you turn your phone upside down the screen flips. But so does the battery. Now the science is complicated, but essentially you flip the direction of electron flow reusing unused and wasted electrons and recharge the phone to up to 50% depending on how efficient your battery gets used. Lower efficiency batteries actually get better results with this method.

My cell phone I presumed already has factory setting to detect low battery power. Therefore if I did inadvertently reach at a "0%" juice left......again, then my cell phone would prompt me and indicate, " slow charge" or change to the correct charger cable. Some other warning similar to it. The battery is good, not the same though. Factory setting, not that much. Battery will charge on your phone, but not the same way. Stop and charge up on point, once you predict or see that you've reach below this mark. Zero < 30% battery power left. Stay above 30 > though to avoid the batteries reserve warning. I noticed that my phone charged at a higher rate just before I reach 30% hurdle or mark. If I paid attention. Sadly, charging below 30% reserve, forced me to charge it up (slow), I would then overlook the, " slow charging" or the "incorrect charger cable" prompts by powering off. The battery will charge quicker. Either way I had to eventually replace the battery. Less of a hussle that way.

Wait how do i find dark mode and low battery mode?

On my version of android, theres a setting in network that automatically turns my wifi on and off based on the wifi networks around me and if it's used often and saved. Also I set my phone to sleep apps as soon as I close them and disabled apps that I can't delete. Soft resetting the battery also helps.
Ya mine has that aswell
I charge my iPad on my computer's lower amperage USB port to put less stress on that.
