My mother always told me a person needs a guiding principle in life. Hers was "To Live is to love" which she said meant that she tried each day to learn to love like Christ. She died in 2022 and I saw her in heaven 6 months later. She looked glorious! Young and radient exceedingly happy. Dressed in a white robe with a gold sash ... blonde and looked about 30. She had a golden glow about her. She took my hands in hers and looked me in the eyes and said, "It has to be this way [our separation] - just for now." She released my hands and I fell to earth. She would have been a fan of Father Spiridon.
There is a line in the Tao Te Ching, a book that convinced me there is something to the God concept and after I started reading the bible. It talks about living long but not perishing, this sounds like your mum. God bless.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Amen
Thank you Dearest Father S, yes Love is sacrificial. God, Our Father sent his only son to save us & Jesus suffered and died for us, what love is greater than this? I do struggle at times to forgive, it is not easy. Thank you Father for your guidance. God Bless you always…🙏
Brother Spyridon, this message is right and true, I live it. Of all the suffering I endured, I still am more concerned about you and all of my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Please, be careful, be safe, and I love you too bro as Christ loves me. Stay strong brother.
So often I wish that God would have me appointed as the Ambassador to China or Russia that the Light of Christ within me might be seen by these foreign leaders and that their hearts might be touched. I agree...........we "conquer men's hearts....through love."
It may seem hard to understand at first but a relationship with Christ is not analogous to a science experiment or a math equation. There is a passage that says “the message of the cross seems as foolishness to those who are perishing”. The good news is that if you have a desire to seek God and know The Truth there is also a passage/promise that says “the one who seeks finds, and for those who knock the door will be opened.” Fair warning: it is a lifelong journey. God bless you and keep you.
1Jn 4:7-12: "Beloved, let us love one another: for love (o. agape) is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not knows not God; for God is love. (o. agape) In this was manifested the love (o. agape) of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, (o. agape) not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love (o. agape) is perfected in us."
@@TboneWTF Mar 10:42-45: "But Jesus called them to him, and says unto them, All of you know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."
No, because one who loves God and is a child of God wills what is that of the Father and rejoices in it. If one has a will apart of that of God, and tries these things, he would be discontent and resentful as manifestation of the malnourishment of their deep desires. Our desire determines what we are slaves to. But of course we shall remember we all are tempted to the worldly things, and it is our job as Christians to crucify that and join our will with God.
I'm curious padre what credible evidence you can offer to prove your god is actually real and true? Of course you'll most likely say "Faith" is all that is needed, but that isn't evidence. Also faith is not a reliable path to the truth is it? You can have faith that Santa Claus is real, right? So what evidence is there for your god? Thank you.
Pray, Lord Jesus, King of Heaven and Earth, reveal Yourself to me, I 🙏 pray, that after my death I would be with You and Your Mother in Heaven, for all Eternity. Luke 11:9-13 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Oh yes, you are closer to the door than you think. Denial for its own sake is a knock on Christ door. How can one be haunted by something or someone they do not believe in. It is God’s Omnipresent grace that even allows you to question him. Knock harder brother but open your heart because when he answers you will hit your knees! I will pray for you, will you pray for me. Things not seen are what drive them which are not… Open heart heart! Love you Brother
