Love that Nanny punchline absolutely perfect.
His delivery is great haha
There's that moment when you're watching a comedian making jokes about being old, and you're laughing because they're really good, and you think "Hang on, I'm older than that guy..." and the whole routine takes on a very different tone.
Fantastically wonderful
that final line is killer!
It is a quarter to six in the morning!
3:06, during the complaint about kids constantly interrupting, was when I heard "Dadddyyyyy" because my daughter wanted something.
Couldn't have been better timed 🤣
Comedy Gold!!! 😅😂😂😂
Brilliant
Miles Jupp is also the guy that played Archie from Balamory (2002) from my Original Years
I used to love Balamory as a kid
It's like trying to get an HP Printer to work - he's been there 😮😅
And Miles has 5 little people now.😆
Very good!
I'm watching this eating Weetabix...
i actually repaired a hole in my door with weetabix
You shouldn't really eat construction materials.
Archie the inventor has done well
What's the story in Balamory
Wouldn't you like to know?
Death and despair abound. STIs are on the rise, the population is ageing, and infant mortality has never been higher.
my favourite Oasis song
471 Satterfield Ferry
Every time he's on Apollo he talks about children
This could be an advert for condoms or vasectomies.
6867 Baumbach Wall
Anyone would think he had the needle
Heroin?
The reason he talks about children is that most people in his audience have them, easy laughs/ empathy.
These are almost all jokes that other people have made before, in a funnier way.
ThatAussieGirl I was thinking more specifically about things like the Weetabix and milk joke.
Maybe, BUT not with HIS delivery... unlike an eastender or cockney geezer.
Well, that was spectacularly unfunny
Yeah, I didn't laugh once
Must be American then...
Bruce McKay can't speak for the original commenter but I'm English and I still don't think his joke delivery is funny
“I love children, but I couldn’t eat a whole one” level of comedy.
I find a lot of the British stand up comedians excel on the panel shows, but suffer in the stand-up gigs. Maybe it's because in the panel shows, there's the variety of comedian input, and they can play off each other? However, I also find that Australian comedians mostly suck arse at everything, apparently finding swearing a substitute for content. I'm Australian by the way.
nope
(yawn)
child
At one stage Giles 5 children ranged from the youngest being 8 months to the eldest being 6!!. ( helped by a set of twins ) so he speaks of being tired from deep within his soul. 🥱
