Heating in May?!? I wanna come over!!!
It’s in the 90F/30C this week and I’ve had my cooling on since March. No wonder he always struts around in those stylish sweaters.
Video was filmed the 17 of May,, so ladt day I was heating was 16 of May,, and it was just a little bit.
I've just suffered the same. Got to replace one and install another! Thanks for the tips.
Hehe, I thought computing was about cooling, not isolating... hehe
But here is a thing. ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES WHILE GRINDING
You could also have just made an adapter... and saved you from grinding in an unsafe environment
Hi Ludvik Karlsson
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Nicely done, mate! Am I the only one who gets lost in thoughts whenever such jobs need to be done over who it was who put the bits and pieces into their place back then?
Once I really got lost in thoughts, I usually thoroughly fuck up the work…
Yay house 🏡 work, I love it, thanks Morten for the new video and have a great day
Well done bud, you done a really god job there.
I hope so,, but it does not matter what I think,, it is the chimney sweeper that has to not keep whining :-)
I did never see a chimney with a door. Here, chimney sweepers always work from the roof. But with that door, nice work.
Hi Marco S
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Never seen a door at the top of a chimney before and has no liner. I fixed any issues with my chimney by removing it and the fireplace.
Job well done Mort. 👍
Hi Danny Shortwave And Radio DX
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Well done :-D
We can often make any job feel harder to do than reality.
Just attacking the job without over thinking about it makes it easy.
You are not on your own morten, most people overthink, i do it too lol.
Well , I did have to plan this a bit,, had to order the thingy and before that, find out how big it needed to be ,,, and so. But the get going part, took the longest!
Nice work. An advantage of DIY is that you can just not care about pesky details like occupational safety and health standards :-)
LOL... I am was upset when I had to cut thru my outside for my heat exchange / HVAC. It looks like you did it well. YOu got lots of projects dude.. Hope it all goes well.
I do some stuff,, but I do not get nearly the amount done that I want to have done :-)
Hey can you do an updated overview of your data Center and go into depth on things such as your networking
Nice little project. Couldn't you just have used a bead of high temp caulk though?
HAY BEN LONG TIME SENT SEE YOUR VIDS JUST GOT INTER NET LAST MOUTH MOVED TO NEVER TROY PLAY IS LOOKING GOOD KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

Have you checked about Asbestos?
You can get lung cancer from Asbestos. Extremly dangerous!!!!!!
It is in old insulation like on top the wall of your chimney. You can send a sample of the insulation to asbestos laboratories. They tell you if there is asbestos.
Please use ffp3 mask when sampling.
I don’t think asbestos was used in mortar. Most commonly in pipe insulation wrapping and wall insulation.
@@peterg.8245 yes. It was used in old fire stop materials and no chimney bricks(no guarantee). But there's a kind of insulation around the chimney.
My house is from 1913 I have not found any exotic materials in the building. Have not seen any indications that this chimney is not built out of ordinary building bricks 🧱
GATE JOB ON THE CLEAN OUT DOOR MISS SE U DO THIS KIND STUFF HAVE A CHANLE ON DIYTUBE.VIDEO KIND LIKE U WHAT EVER I DOING THAT DAY EVER THING FROM MILL LUMBER FIRE WOOD AND MY NEW HOME GOING TO BE BUILD IT OLD TRAILER GAMEING OR WHAT EVER GLAD TO SEE U WORKING ON YOUR PLASE MISS THESE VIDS STAY SAFE AND TAKE CARE
Well I try to mix up the videos,,, My main thing is the servers,, but I like doing the other stuff to.
In Germany, a chimney sweeper is a sign of good luck, so why would you want to get them off your back? ;-P
Well he keeps bugging me with stuff that is not up to code... why,,, they change the code!
@@MyPlayHouse The code is always being changed, but normally, you aren't bugged about it. For example, my flat still has an RCA only in the breaker panel for the bathroom, since it was wired up in 2002, but since 2009 or so, it's required to have an RCA for the whole apartment. Nobody even bothers to do something about it, I asked the landlords and even they were like "Oh, that's a building modification, you have to apply for that and then see whether we carry at least part of the code", so I was like "yeah, fuck off..." ;-)
Normally the change code for everything new. Years back, they changer code that ment that wast water, and rain water had to be separated,,, it is a really good idea not to treat all the rain water. But it was easily €5-10.000 for a house to have that fixed. And to be honest,, that is a shitty way to spend your money 😕
@@MyPlayHouse OK, yours is a clearly different system than here in Germany. When it's redone, it has to conform to the current code, but as long as it works, heck, I've even seen apartments with old style Diazed (D-Type) screw-in fuses (Edison base), as they had been used in the 60s, instead of modern circuit breakers. The electrical system hadn't been overhauled, so they were ok to stay in... (I only know a very little bit about building codes in regards to electrical installations and nothing about heating or chimney codes. I guess they may have to be certified regularly, so yeah, that may actually be the same here. Oh well, I've got central heat from some heating plant several km away, no chimney for me).
"We're doing pretty well here", drops frame through gap which then falls 3 metres and gets wedged inside the chimney.
no safety glasses?
Hi MrOne2watch
I do get this question from time to time, so I have added it to my F.A.Q. that you can check out under the "about" tab here on my channel. I give a longer answer there.

Funny thing is... everyone always down votes the "First" idiot, sending that comment to the very bottom where no one will ever see it.
