Looks like a lot of fun. When I was a kid, I thought smoking locomotives were kind of hokey. Now, 65 plus years later, I think they are great. haha Still love my A-B-A NYC F3s. Nice to see yours actually running and stretching their legs.
Great looking postwar layout! You’ll have to update once your mountain scenery is completed. Your layout reminds me of the great Lionel showroom layout from 1949-1957!
The track sounds are better than any “cab chatter “ or recorded locomotive sounds played back from circuit boards. I bet these classic trains are super reliable too. Very nice.
All those worm gear motors running lots of voltage sound so good. You have some real nice pieces. Enjoy!
This is my kind of layout.
No talking!
Just running trains!!!

He is running the best Post-War lionel train's,773 Hudson,Texas Special,2343 Santa Fe,736 Berkshire,or the 726 Berkshire,on lionel 027 track!
Nice layout-where is it located since moving from Chesterfield, Michigan? Thanks
What switches are those? Seem shorter than standard.
great track work, and well planned, except why no sound deadening material on top of the plywood ?
Do Lionel produce two rail equipment ??? Are they always so noisy or is it just the track noise not being dampened down
Neil Young
