Just finished binge watching all seasons, never wanted to spoil anything by watching interviews. What a shock to hear her accent!!! Was not expecting that, she sounds so proper and to hear this kinda Irish-American(?) sounding voice is unreal! Love them all, has been a pleasure to watch and sad to have to wait for more!

Cait was already dating Tony McGill, her real life Jamie, at the time but she seemed intrigued by Sam. Sam was clearly head over heels smitten with his soon to be “telly wife,” but Claire remained more cautious, keeping things between them no more intense than a strong friendship. I suspect that Sam has continued to carry the torch for Cait for all these years, but he has been totally sweet and respectful of any limitations she may have quietly imposed upon their friendship. I disagree with some fans who have insisted that they are “secretly dating”.
