What kind of site are interested in for internship? Because the experience you get should align with your desired training experience

Yea I’ve given it some thought and have a pretty solid idea of where I’d hope to end up for internship. Unfortunately, for my program they are really concerned with the numbers of it all and when people don’t match for internship or voluntary choose to not do an APA accredited internship they make a big fuss about it. So they emphasize getting the “best” experiences that they think will make us “more competitive” come internship year. Hence the focus on students applying for hospitals and VAs. I’m not the only person in my cohort they gave shit to about it. It’s just very much a numbers game for them 🤷🏾‍♀️

Congratulations I love your channel, I’m currently dealing with this I’m a cyber security student, and my university the university of Arizona has a scholarship/internship program, with the department of defense, I applied and they do a prep interview before anyone even calls you they said I did well and I could hear from the DOD in March or April and they were like even if you don’t hear anything that doesn’t mean they won’t call you, so I’m just sitting on pins and needles 😭😭😭😭.
