Hello there, I have a question. I have the free version of the software and I only see a session that says updates not updater. The Updater feature is only available with the paid version? On the other hand, when I create an installer and install the app, I get two icons in the startup and when I uinstall the app the icons does not goes way. I have to remove them manually. I'd really appreciate it if I could get some info about this.
Yes, the autoupdater is available only in the paid editions. You need at least a Professional license. Regarding your shortcuts issue, there could be multiple reasons for such a behavior, previous tested packages, copies of the existing project, custom actions. The first step is to see if you can reproduce the problem on another clean machine, where the installer was never run.
LMAO 500 dollars for a professional license to do any of this, this is ridiculous. Have you never considered a license or subscription based service for individual developers? Not every company is willing to shell out 500 bucks for a service like this.
