Sucks that they're trying to copyright back a copy of something so unusual and rare. Oh well!
There was a cartoon before Mafich Fayda called Marco Monkey (1935), but it was heavily criticized and im not sure if a print survives.

The animations that were traced and sampled are all American. Mish Mish Effendi was produced in Egypt
