A few few points, I have had Govee water sensers/ humidity for a few years and they are awesome. Love the Grinch! Led's look SWEET! Showing my age, but with my 99 Civic SI, hated the days of busted fluorescent tubes lol. THESE ROCK! PROPS ON THE SWEET RIDE!
Thxxx took my mechanic 2 to 3 hours to install but I love it if you want to install it, avoid wrapping it around the wheel I got hit from the left side under the wheel and cut right out, trying to maneuver and have all the wire under the car itself❤
Got a set and installed them... wasn't the easiest for me because I'm not much of a "car guy" but I managed to figure it out. All lights were working the first night. The next day, the rear strip wasn't working... and then a couple hours after that, none of it was working. I'm not sure what happened but I ordered a replacement. I'll do it better this second time around.
No that would require a memory function that they don’t have + the draw from these leds are so low that a working alternator and good battery could power them for days without a charge!!!!if the car is off for a lot longer then you would ever use them “forgot to turn them off???” as soon as you start the car again your alternator will be charging the “SLIGHTLY” drained battery to full in less time then it would take for you to run around the car
I had govee under my blazer but the sides weren't long enough or bright enough. I went with glowe industries since they do custom lengths to fit your application
I was going to ask if you had thought of installing white LED ground lighting along the sides of your Blazer. I have some factory installed ones on my 2017 Nissan Maxima and it is a nice touch. Mine only light up when you open the doors. Especially nice when you have kids or elderly folks getting in/out of the vehicle.
Quick detailer was a major FAIL!! It leaves a coating and will inhibit the bond of the 3m tape. You must use alcohol or even acetone if you want it to actually stay on.
How long did it take you to install ? I have those on my Accord. They are great lights, but the entrance of my job floods when it rains. I think it messed up the passenger side lights.I paid someone to do them before. I may do it myself. They are also building a new entrance so I should be ok.
Same thing as before. Exposed terminals are no big deal, it’s a completed circuit that’s undesirable, but there won’t be rain and snow in the engine bay
Before I install mine I’m going to add some gorilla glue where the wire goes into the led strip housing and at the end of it so hopefully over time, none of that crap like salt on the roads for snow or water will get in there. Just an extra piece of protection
Hey quick question can you get ur car cleaned through a car wash and can you use the under car wash to clean the bottom of ur car or is that just not possible anymore ?
Good question, just purchased these lights and I get with my unlimited car wash under carriage washes. Especially with the salt crap they put on our roads for snow. I plan on installing these lights in the next couple weeks and getting a under carriage car wash.
What should I be hooking it up to since I have a 07 cadillac and the battery is under the rear seat... there is a positive post under the hood but the actual battery is under the rear seat... also how do I do it so it turns on and off when the car is off or on..or if I want it to be able to be on with the car on or off?
i would recommend getting a fuse tap and connecting your positive terminal that way. that will let you decide weather you want to use a keyed source or not
@@DrippDroppz I didn’t, but it turns out the parasitic draw is so small it’s negligible. I’ve left my car for over a week without starting it and the battery voltage was still in a good range and the car cranked right over.
@@joeadops5964hey, I know it's 4 months later. But I'm hesitant about buying the lights and hooking them directly up to the battery. Have you had any problems with your lights or your battery?
I really wished you would of spent more time showing us exactly how to properly thread the wires to your battery terminals. This was not helpful at all as far as actual installation. Especially the most important aspect of threading the wires to or from the battery itself. 🤔

what happened?
Looks dope and hope you have an awesome Christmas
Thanks buddy, you too!
That F&F vibes, just tell the Officer it's Stock from 2001 😏😎
I know each car is different but how would I go about hooking it up with my auto lights
Thanks for showing us how you connected the wires lol
Sick car man
Connecting the wires directly to negative and positive does that drain your battery even when the car is off??
Do the light drain the battery when they're off though?

Does anyone know how to install to a fuse? 😭 I’ve heard the battery isn’t as great
need the link to the front splitter dawggggg!

The height makes it hard too. I think SUVs are better suited for rock lights.
that's cool!
I have a question and is if connecting the led lights directly to the battery have a cons?
U gonna drain the battery even faster just make a switch so u don’t have to worry
@@ichuboidron3187 How about a fuse tap?
I love Govee, but their LED strips are too short. The ones I have on my car are 7 ft per side running from wheelbase to wheelbase all the way around
You got a thumb up from me
Your car is sick
Thank you sir
How did you run these around your exhaust?
I just bought mine for my impala i just have to figure out how to run it get mine tomorrow in the mail
Just saw ur vid “got my govee under lights” glad to see it all worked out man!
@@DrippDroppz now I have a Camaro trying to figure out how to do it since I don’t have the Impala
Does it automatically power on when you get in or do you have to use the remote each time?
Thank you for this bro 🙏🏻
Why do you disconnect the battery in the trunk? Do you ever reconnect it?
So you don’t shock yourself and die lol
I have a very modded chevy cruze I've been working on can I just put screws into the bottom for the lights or what do I do?
Did you install the screws with it as well?.

I'm thinking about potential rock lights. We shall see

I love the part where you show how to actually install the lights. Great how to video. 🫠

alcohol or acetone? but wouldn’t it weaken the adhesive?
Looks good
Did you setup the lights in the app before or after installing them on your car?
So wait you connected the positive and negative wire to a second battery in the front?
What's your rims/tyres specs? They seem a little stretched.

I'd say about an hour. It rains pretty heavy here in FL. And my car is lowered I haven't had any issues.
what happens in rain and snow just wondering how to protect them
Should be water proff just protec the control box

They are 100% waterproof my boy! I live in a state where it gets a fair amount of water and snow you should be good
No need to worry the LED lights are protected with a clear cover
Question does this void the warranty of a new dodge charger?
doubtful since you can always take it off if needed
Hey quick question can you get ur car cleaned through a car wash and can you use the under car wash to clean the bottom of ur car or is that just not possible anymore ?

Does it drain the battery?
NFS underground 2 … RTX on
Pinch welds that’s the part your talking about
Why is my negative wires burning when I try to install positive and negative
Are they still sticking to bottom

You didn’t wire it to a switched 12v so I imagine you’re going to get a parasitic draw right? That’s not good right?
I mean no. That wouldn't be good. But that's how they called out to install.
